On the radio this morning, Barnes said that there was some more financial bad news about to come out. How much worse can it get? Best to get it all out in the open I suppose, but what a crap situation we are in and it only looks like it's going to get worse. How long do you think until we are more or less sorted out both financially and on the pitch? My guess is 3 years.
What a sad state of affairs. With piss poor finances like this, you'll struggle to compete at the top end of the Championship if you go down. Some teams down there are spending big money on players too.
Only way we'll be competing at the top end is if our kids take the league by storm. They're decent kids, but not sure they're that good yet.
I think in the Championship next season, Villa will be the most likely winners, no matter who goes down. They've finally turned that ship around and are looking like they're in good shape, that Kodjia looks a great buy. 7 wins out of 8 but too late for promotion this season.
Not sure what it is Bri, I read somewhere that she got something in the region of £750k so doubt it her. More likely the interest that we pay to Short for his generosity when he kindly loaned us money at an extortionate interest rate. Very kind of him eh?
Was it post #5 That extortionate interest rate is the bank's rate by the way. Short's loan isn't worth the paper it's written on. It's to himself so he'd only be charging himself interest and hindering his own companies books massively. Nah mate, the Short loans are interest free.
Well some ****er is creaming money from the club. We'll never find out like, but it's blatantly obvious that after all these years under Short, we still haven't managed to halt the flow of cash going out of the club. It just doesn't add up mate.
