If the title is "Home Draw Specialists", it's been predictably enhanced

So stupid from Williams but Robles should be bellowing at him to leave it. On the balance of play, United deserve a point. Nine draws at home this season has cost them dearly. Watching them, their problem is clearly the fact that Plan A is to hoof the ball into the area and hope that their 2 Men o'elbows knock it down to someone for a shot. Against better sides than Everton, United were there for the taking on the counter as they had no holding presence in midfield once Carrick went off.

Oh well, it's as you were at the top of the table, whilst at the bottom it looks like Sunderland are gone.

Still a good result for us. 8 points now the gap to 5th with a much better goal difference.

I reckon the goalie would have saved that if he hadn't handled it. Wasn't exactly a powerful shot from Shaw was it?!

I had 1-0 Utd, so that was long gone. Got the Burnley and Leicester games spot on, though.

Anyone think a Spurs win tomorrow should be the result that ensures
neither of the Goons or Man Utd can push us out of a top 4 slot ??

8th is a good finish. Liverpool jogged in 8th and Chelsea 10th. It's done them no end of favours. That'd do you?

It was one of those that hit the ground and bounced up awkwardly. From most angles, it looked like Robles had it covered. He would've seen it very late due to having Williams' "well-rounded" frame planted firmly in front of him, but should've saved it anyway.

United won't catch us. Not based on that performance. They play with absolutely no shape; full backs constantly switching sides and pushing forward almost randomly, leaving great yawning gaps between two CB's who don't exactly inspire confidence at the best of times. Fellaini reminds me of the one twat in the playground who used to hang around near your team's goal hoping the ball would drop to him for a tap-in. Pogba is a box-to-box midfielder who appears allergic to entering either box. Rashford and Lingard look talented but their performance summarises for me everything that is wrong with that lack of shape and distinct style:

This United team plays where the ball is, not where the space is. This leads to two patterns: A) A line of very tall people with very sharp elbows lining up in the box for a hopeful cross (leaving appx. 50 yards of wide open grassland behind them) / B) Crowds of 3-4 players all operating in the same part of the pitch, hoping to intercept the ball and launch it towards the very tall people with very sharp elbows.

Hang on, I've described pattern A there again, haven't I?

Leicester's upturn in form makes it highly likely.
It's ridiculous that the EL is such a poisoned chalice - unless you win it.

This doesn't make any sense, unless we were doing it by finishing behind you.
You're welcome to offer an alternative opinion, though. Who do you think would walk in?

    Nobody would.
You're a team whereas we are a collection of individuals, many of whom would be better performers if they were also part of a good team.
Utd have a lot of very good players, but why would you alter a well functioning team to accommodate any of them?

You have had good seasons before and fell at the final hurdle, you, Arsenal and Liverpool are known for it. There is a reason journo's bypass you when talking about where teams could finish as in City pose a threat to Chelsea but no mention of Spurs.
Finishing above United after the last few seasons is not an achievement so I wouldn't shout about that too much, Everton and even Liverpool could do it this season.

So, in your opinion - out of genuine interest - what would be an 'achievement' for Spurs?
