Yes it was definitely fighting talk. And so was the EU, basically sticking a wedge between Spain and Britain. Either Gibraltar wants to stay British and out of the EU or they want to become Spanish and stay in the EU. It's got **** all to do with the EU. I still say this could get very nasty.

Spain have no right to a veto over the future of Gibraltar because Gibraltar is British. So the EU can **** off on that one. If Gibraltar decides it wants to become Spanish and stay in the EU then I suspect Britain would allow that. However, if Gibraltar wants to remain British, the only way Spain can have any say in the future of Gibraltar is to take it away from Britain.

In a nutshell this is down to whether Spain wants to fight for Gibraltar. It is **** all to do with the EU

 

FFS Think Spain will go to war over Gibraltar,not a chance.If anything the Spanish will play dirty and expel all those expats and pensioners like Mon & Patience just what the British will be doing in the near future,my sister included.

Grande Britania is in no position to go to war with any **** unless it's drone strikes on arab schools and hospitals.

Yer Tory goverment has paid off most of the army. Scrapped most of the navy and have an airforce flying fighter bombers that have onboard commodore 64's running their systems.
