Klopp: "It is not very positive but we have to wait and see. We have to wait until the knee is not swollen anymore."

Like i said on Can before, i doubt he will feature tomorrow. No pictures of him in training either. Could be a right random mix of players starting tomorrow

Its time for Sturridge to actually do something.

I've stuck up for that bastard enough times.

I assumed as such when we were told it was swollen. I suspect medial ligaments and 6/8 weeks. = the season

Knowing that his time is up, and that he is unlikely to be here next season. I doubt if he is going to put any effort:headbang:.

Klopp Confirms: 'Brilliant' €17m Liverpool star 'could' change positions to replace Mane vs. Bournemouth. [/paste:font]

    4/04/2017 04:09:00 pm | Jaimie K
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hinted at some big changes for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth

Liverpool's squad is currently ravaged by injuries, and when asked today how he plans to approach the game, Klopp told reporters:

"We have the possibility of changing systems. We have different options. Milner could play a wing position offensively. There's a lot of different things".

With Sadio Mane definitely out of tomorrow's game, moving Milner onto the right wing makes perfect sense, but if that happens, who will replace him at left-back. There are two obvious options:

    * Safe Option 1: Play Alexander-Arnold at right-back, and move Clyne to left-back (where he's played several times before at Southampton and LFC).

    * Safe Option 2: Utilise Ragnar Klavan at left-back. The Estonian has played there many times in the past.

    * Nuclear Option: Reinstate Alberto Moreno at left-back, and keep Clyne on the right.

Moreno's stock has plummeted with both Klopp and the Liverpool fanbase, but he's not a lost cause, and he's perfectly capable of deputising against Bournemouth. That said, my preferred option is Alexander-Arnold/Clyne.

As for 'changing systems' - Klopp has employed a 352 on several occasions this season, though it's unclear why he'd switch to (ostensibly) a more
    --- Lovren --- Matip ----- Klavan
    Clyne -------------------------- Milner
    ------- Can -- Lucas -- Wijnaldum
    ----------------- Coutinho
    -------------- Firmino

I can't see Klopp doing anything other than starting Origi in place of Mane.

Another option could be playing Moreno wide left and moving Cout but he's a lot better cutting in on his right foot.

    @Jigsawklopp I like safe option 1.

Milner in Manes place is a very different format though. Milner doesn't have any of the pace that Mane has.

He has other qualities. He can spot a pass, he is ruthless and determined, but he doesn't come close to Manes pace.

the person writing this is a crank... "several times" for back 3.. read twice when we were awful and he tried to change things

Its patently obvious that IF can is fit we will simply go 433 with firmino right side and origi up top. simple as.
