Niang says he is hoping he gets a permanent move to Watford like Cleverley but admits his record so far is not great
Oh - and for what it is worth I checked and if you put someone on ignore you do not see threads they started. That probably explains the problem.
Or not - I don't remember ever putting Leo on 'ignore' & he's certainly not on it now. I found my own 'best' solution - to mark them as watched threads & access them through the watched threads link at the top of the page.
I don't know if there is a limit on 'sticky' threads, but if it is causing one of the regular posters a problem, I don't see why this couldn't be stickied. It is an on-going thread that has no end, and it is regularly posted on. Whenever there is news, people go straight to it, so being at the top it would be easy to find.... I know how we all rush to post on it if something exciting has happened ;-)
I guess you have the site book marked? This is what brings it up for me. http://www.not606.com/forums/watford.57/ This page gives all posts that are being made in time order. The "selected threads" only appears on this page just above the date in the right hand side as far as I can see. In my case selected threads says 0.
I'm sure I remember him saying before he left that he was deleting his account - don't know if he ever did though, or if that's even possible.
Now I'm totally confused - yes, I have it bookmarked, and that is the page that opens up - but not only is there no 'selected threads', there is no date shown either. Not to worry, I've managed a 'workaround'...
I just searched 'members' to look for him - still there, but I'm blocked from viewing any details. Must have upset him over something.
Sorry - not an expert on computers so was experimenting to see if I could replicate the problem - which I did by putting him on ignore. Maybe there is something similar but not quite that on your settings - or perhaps it is just "the computer says no "
RIP thread was before he left - he posted a goodbye at end of January. I think you cannot close your membership - the mods will know. I think blocking details is all or none - don't think you can select who; I cannot view his details and never corresponded with him so am pretty sure I did not upset him
I think it is to do with Sky - and televising only one live game per week - with Champions League football they need to find a fit if they want to televise some of Chelsea's games. Something like that I read.
"Adrian Mariappa now holds the Premier League record for the longest gap in days between two apps for the same club - 3614 days." Can it really be that long?
