Morning all. A few for me today and i am interested to see Mr fallon's book at newmarket today. He's definitely going for it! Rigoletto in the 2-00 at newbury is one i've been followng and I think he has the potential to progress further today and win. Like the great pilsudski i'm a fan of Buthelezi and have him backed in the 3-05. Looking elsewhere the 2 stand out Fallon rides for me are pimpernel Iin the 2-15 and Clear ice in the 2-45 (French navy is too short in my view). The last one i like is Mia's Boy in the 3-45 at Doncaster. I think this is another one who has a big race in him and hopefuly today will be the day. Best of luck everyone unless you support Derby county Oh, and as someone who doesn't worship at the altar of Sachin Terndulkar I'd just like to say .
THEMANINBLACK is a "bleezer" summat good ?? If yes I may be tempted to have a dabble as I am a big fan of your forthright style
3.05 Meeznah 5/1 (small bet for me) Last time out travelled very strongly in the closing stages where others were shoved along. Posted a very quick time and Frankie booked again. Also the fact he is not riding for Godolphin on Claremont who has beaten Opinion Poll suggest to me meeznah is in with a good shout.
Rougemont is all the rage in the 2.30 Newbury but I would rather take a chance with Telwaar at 12/1. Over 6f on good to firm ran right away from a half decent field at Doncaster. Again over 6f on good to firm here last month was only 5th to Saigon (Btn less than 3l) and that form was not let down (too much) when Saigon was not disgraced in a G2 at Goodwood behind the impressive Harbour Watch. In between though, he ran his best race on soft going over 7f when running on well just 7l behind Maybe after dwelling at the start. The return to Newbury over 7f on good going could be enough to surprise the talking horse. In the 3.05 Newbury one of my Horses to Note, Census, is going and I have to stick by him as he's improving all the time. I expect him to reverse placings with Brown Panther.
Hello lads. Waffle is well fancied today and is already being backed.Connections confident of a big run on the ground with Young McNiff taking 5lb off and bringing him down to 102 effectively. He chased home the classy Deacon Blues in the Wokingham off 100,the two well clear.A reproduction of that would make him hard to beat in what is an ultra competitive race.Already being backed and the 11/1 currently available looks sound ew value and will he will go off shorter. The owners are also involved in Colonel Mak who apparently smashed his head against the boxes in the Stewards Cup,damaging his dental work, hence his poor run.He races off 95 today, only 2lb higher than when winning the Ayr Silver Cup,and will like the ground.Inconsistent sort who is bound to pop up in one of these sooner rather than later..at 14/1 he might be worth a saver. Anyhow I'm goona have a look at these.GL all. GL all
Hard to know what to make of that race...some of them semed to run below form.FS said the going was just on the soft side of good after the first and described it as "lovely"....suppose all ground is lovely if you've just had a winner.
34/1 double for Hanagan in the first 2 races at Ripon - showing he isn't going to give up his title lightly
