I think the whole country are cheering on our sole survivors in Europe. They are certainly playing better football these days and if its their day who knows!
I can see how you might think that, Bobby! In all fairness, I have always maintained that you should not "shoot the messenger!" Just because I foresaw humiliation (and I still fear that this is yet to come), that does not mean that I want Leicester to be humiliated. For the record - and so that we are absolutely clear on this - I do not want LCFC to be humiliated. Quite the contrary, I want them to keep pushing on, and to do the unthinkable, and win the CL!
Thanks for linking to that, CFC. It's always great to be reminded of the Stoke game, which set Kane on his way to earning the Golden Boot, last season.
last 8....is there a medal for that? If I'm not mistaken, it's the 'winning the trophy' mantra that counts....judging by you and you're past remarks...not the 'we did well in it'...last 8 and you jizz yourself...first get you're opinions in line with themselves...then come and talk to me and win a European trophy before you think you can talk about Europe...see we can all play this game
Those comments are straight out of the old HIAG's wum-textbook! The new HIAG cannot be so harsh. Yes, I would have to agree with the old HIAG that a humiliation in the CL is very much on the cards, but the new HIAG would love to see them go the whole way.
How are Spurs getting on in the "winning the trophy" department? Last time I checked we've got a Premier League trophy sat at Filbert Way.
Well done, again, Akky. Spurs are currently engaged in trying to win the FA Cup. We face Chelsea in one of the two semi-finals. It's going to be a tough match, but I'm sure our lads are up for it. How did Leicester get on, in that competition, this season, by the way? Oh, and the other thing is that we are, once again, engaged in a chase for the Prem title. A few matches ago, we were 13 points behind Chelsea, but now that has been reduced to 7 points. As you can see, it's going to be a tough task catching Chelsea, but we are the only team, once again, that has any real chance of catching them. How has Leicester's title defence come along, this season? See what I did there, Akky? I have no real wish to scoff along these lines, since doing so doesn't really advance discussion on this forum, which is what I was led to believe this is supposed to be about? Otherwise, the point of this discussion board would be reduced to nothing more than a name-calling exercise.
So what you're telling me is that you've not won a trophy either in the most roundabout, meltdowny way possible?
The race must still be on if no one has won it yet. For those of you old enough, remember Devon Loch. The rest of you, Google it.
