  1. Yeah, nice attempt at staving off the vicious piss-taking abuse that you know is coming your way, Pix.

I will do my best to hold back on the worst excesses. I cannot promise you any more than that, I am afraid.

I can see from that response that you are going to do nothing to dispel the reputation that you have for being a fan with small club mentality :)

  3. On the contrary, Pix, you have no idea of the restraint I am currently exercising.

If you were dealing with the old HIAG, the wum-party would already have started.

But the new HIAG is a very different beast. He is going to wait until everything is in the bag before he begins ripping the piss.

I'm sure you will agree that this is a massive improvement, Pix?

I'm afraid that this todger waving thread has already condemned you to your fate of a fan displaying small club mentality.

(And clearly it's a todger that shares the same size challenged affliction)

We would be pleased to have shown that we were better than you over a whole season. Given the difference in resources that's worth celebrating. It will (if it happens) mean no more and no less than that.

  7. Sorry, Pix, but there is absolutely no validity to your assertion.

The question I have asked is a valid one.

Ordinarily, your fair-weather plastic brethren would be chuckling at the prospect of a "St Totteringham's Day" celebration at this point in the season, so the question I have raised is entirely valid.

I see that three posters have voted for there being a St Totteringham's Day, as opposed to a St Arsehole's Day, which is fair enough. I would like to know who those posters are, and what their rationale is for voting this way.

Which one do you think the fans will be celebrating, Pix? St Totteringham's Day or St Arsehole's Day?

Well said <ok> If Spurs finish above us (as it looks like you will) I will give Spurs the credit they deserve, you'vce been good all season, whereas we have been larley ****. As you say you will deserve to celebrate that. What I'm talking about though is the small club mentality of fans like HIAG who think one means Spurs suddenly become the dominant force in North London.

I should have added to my last post the following observation, in relation to the usual annual scoffing of your fair-weather plastic brethren.

I'm sure that they would have voted in my poll, if only they had not done a runner.

As noted, your tiny Todger waving thread demonstrates otherwise.

I'm going to have to refer to you as TT if this continues :)

  11. There you go again, spouting out inaccuracies!

I have said nothing about Spurs becoming the dominant force in North London. I have, in fact, made it absolutely clear that there is currently no dominant force in North London. This is due to the fact that both our clubs are going through a transition. Arsenal appears to be on a descending spiral and we seem to be on an ascending spiral. What is not, yet, clear is whether or not either of our clubs will maintain its respective trajectory.

It is possible that you will be able to stem your descent, and that we may fail to maintain our ascent.

Until Time has revealed to us the answer, any opinion voiced in the matter is valid.

I am sure that you (and your fair-weather plastic brethren) will assert that your current form is merely a blip, and that our current form (which has been forming over the last three or four seasons, now) is nothing more than a fluke. Spurs fans may well take the opposite view.

Please, do me the courtesy of reading what it is that I actually write, and not what you presume I have written in order to best serve your pointless wum-agenda.

Sorry, but your whole premise is bollocks. Arsenal might not be a dominant force in the league at the moment, but we are the dominant force in North London. 13 league titles to your 2 says that. <ok>

  13. How can you be a dominant force if you are not performing on the field?
    <doh>

Half your team wants to leave, and your manager is coming under increasing pressure to resign because he is now a liability to your club; and yet you mutter on about being the dominant force in North London!

    It's utter nonsense, Pix!

You used to be the dominant force in North London, and your history over the past 20-odd years is proof of that. You are no longer the dominant force. Whether or not you will re-establish your dominance, or whether or not Spurs will now emerge as the dominant force, is something that only time will answer.

Regardless of any of the above, the question posed in my poll remains valid... will there be a St Totteringham's Day or a St Arsehole's Day celebration, this season?

The only reason you don't like me posing this question is because, until now, it has been assumed, somewhat arrogantly by your fair-weather plastic brethren, as well as by you, that every season will see a St Totteringham's Day celebration, and that it is only the date that needs to be ascertained. Your fair-weather brethren have done a runner because they must know what is coming, and they are too cowardly to stick around and take it.

If you wish to hang around to take it on their behalves, that is your choice. But, make no mistake, it is coming, Pix.

Wow, that is some rant. <laugh>

I know you don't often do reality, but i'm afraid that Spurs finishing above Arsenal for one season, will not wipe out the record of 13 league titles to your 2.

  18. I take it that you are, in fact, one of the three who has voted that, this season, there will be a St Totteringham's Day.

I'm not wumming, Skids. I genuinely want to know why you think that is the case?
