Disagree. Citeh don't appear to be a side capable of motivating themselves regardless. Would rather the top 2 pull away and see what happens.
I'll take the draw. City will still be motivated to take points off Chelsea, because Pep needs, at the very least, to finish in the top 4. But this result means two of our rivals dropping points.
The point is they could beat them and enable you to close the gap to 4 points. That could still happen, but looks less likely now. They looked to be in second gear today. I can't see them wanting to burst a gut in midweek. They might have felt a bit more inclined with a win today and an outside chance of joining a title race with a win at Chelsea.
Defeat today would make Arsenal think about Wenger's departure. A draw makes our top 4 trophy more likely. What it does to Chelsea v Citeh? God knows? I didn't give Citeh much hope in that game, no matter what today's result was. That said, on their day they can batter teams, so we'll wait and see. We need to aim to win every game left and that'll be a real achievement, no matter where we finish. Minimum, we should be aiming for 80+ points and no more draws.
Get ur point - just that Citeh don't appear motivated anyway. They carry far too many players and the effort they showed today indicated that they have already packed their holiday cases. Very poor!!

Arsenal and City conceded 16 goals between them in their 4 CL last 16 games. We saw why today. Not enough pressing in midfield and defenders who can't defend put under pressure too often.
It just shows you how quickly things can change. If City could muster a win, Chelsea's "unassailable" 10 point lead could be reduced to just 4 points in 4 days. When Utd threw away an 8 point lead over City in 2012, the rot set in three weeks later in late April with a 4-4 draw v Everton in a game which should have been a comfortable 3 points. It seems that one result had a decisive impact on the mindset of the teams - Utd became anxious whereas City gained belief and won every remaining game including QPR at home with the two injury time goals. If City can win, Chelsea will feel the pressure of being chased down. Suddenly, tricky trips to Utd, Everton and WBA look like potential banana skins for Chelsea. We are only three quarters of the way through the season.

It is like we do not exist!
It's almost worth overturning the seven points to see if they have a collective nervous breakdown at having to talk about us without making **** up about our players being "unhappy" or their Spurs careers being "over" for a change.
Don't seriously think that Chelsea will collapse over the next 9 games sufficient to let anyone in - just want us to continue to show the same determination and togetherness demonstrated over the last few weeks to finish as high as possible. The joy at the moment is to see the disunity and lack of that 'togetherness' in two of our supposed nearest rivals. Not so unsurprising with Citeh, their bunch of mercenaries and overrated coach. However, to witness the Goons in such disarray brings a wonderful warm feeling. Long may it continue - and judging by the deluded comments from both managers after today's error strewn encounter (which would have put the Mousers to shame), I think it will.
