I'm not doing a review, some points though. I find being at the game you see LESS not more than on the box - we were the better team until they scored against run of play - we had what looked like a good chance before they scored that we screwed up, had We scored first it would have been different game, they did not have any answers to how we were playing - st the time defence and midfield were winning most and we were also pressing their defenders when in possession - crowd seemed to think it was Reading reference library. Apart from some rough looking northern chappies at one end who were most uncouth. Only decent Reading chant came at 90 minutes - when they scored we were lucky to get to half time without another goal - second half did pretty well until near the end, it was probably 50 50 who would score next - it's true Hernandez waves his arms when he should be tackling back, but also true he worked hard - if there was a plan b it was more long ball and use Dukes presence - he did not look as sharp as last time I saw him - overall two decent Championship teams, game could have gone either way, neither team had enough goal threat. Both would struggle in Orem without a lot of additions
We will have Ayling back, he can slot into the middle. Any idea when the panel reviews missed incidents? I'm wondering if Cooper will be available on Tuesday, we need to get one more game out of him if the Pontus situation isn't resolved
What game were you watching. Taylor headed that ball to the Reading forward.. does Cooper get blamed for everything
Yes your right,Taylor headed the ball,Cooper was the one playing hop scotch after the header,as good as any to blame.
The steam was awful and kept jumping. At one point is actually jumped to the Liverpool v Everton game
An estate agent who can't afford sky sports. I've seen it all now. What do you sell? Mud huts or tents
Cooper should be available for Tuesday. Isn't he entitled to a hearing to present his defence with this panel process? If yes, it usually takes a few days to get organised.
Thanks for that, 2020. I was flying home so missed the match. You've restored my faith a little. Losing 1-0 away is never the end of the world, especially playing an in-form contender. It sounds as if it was like most Championship games this season - i.e. it could have gone either way. Them's the breaks. Sometimes you get the rub of the green, sometimes you don't. I'm glad we're looking good for the play-offs, but honestly not sure if I want us to go up this season. Even with the limited additions we could afford, we'll be straight back down. Only good thing about that is the money. Everything else is a big downer - morale shattered, fans berating the team & manager etc. Not sure I want to go through that. Another year to further build would be ideal, but with this league, there's no guarantee we'd get promoted, even with a stronger team. Toughie. I really don't know which outcome I prefer.
Look at derby. They were building steadily and now they're back to square one. We have to grab the opportunity when it presents itself
Thanks El. It was the best ever holibag. Will never match it - unless I have a holibag to seriously celebrate us winning the Champions League. A man can dream ...
