Hilarious from the West Ham chuckle brothers. Count out the use of the word 'mate' West Ham have got some horrific remaining fixtures - they are still in the ****.
No.. How Jones is allowed to ref at this level is just symptomatic (big word for a Sunday morning) of the way refs are assessed. Jones and Moss are the worst of the worst. I've just seen the pen Moss gave B'mouth at Southampton. The bloke fell over his own feet.
Kudos however to the director - if such productions have a director - for the exact position he got the pair of them to stand in.
The sooner we have video refereeing the better for me. We seem to be talking every week about really poor decisions from the officials. Some decisions like the above can prove costly for clubs.
Yeah that seemed a good spot. I suspect it was just lucky. Why haven't we got a Hull City Fans TV? We have media students who could do that surely? We'd have You Ern, as our educated well spoken Philip Larkin type, Chazz as our (fat) Sid James, Kemps as our token gaylord, PLT as the angry young man, Lambo as the angry old man, his lad to appeal to the 1D fans out there. It'd be brilliant.
A very important win yesterday, especially with Palace's result. We weren't great in the first half but credit to Marco for making the changes he did as it got us the result. We're not quite the full shilling with our performances but our attitude to grab the points in the 2nd half was pleasing and that sort of attitude counts for a lot right now. It hopefully sets us up nicely for Wednesday where a win would once again do us the world of good. Win on Wednesday it will make things interesting for both Burnley and West Ham who seem to be slipping down into the mix.
I've just watched al the Spammers interviews on WHUTV.... they seem to think that they're in deep doo doo... Arsenal next, then a must win against Swansea and then Sunderland. After that it gets harder. Burnley are definitely not out of it yet and it might just come down to the last day. Lots of twists yet me thinks.. Don't worry, we'll be safe by then!!!
There's a programme on tonight with Neville and carragher spending time with refs , don't think I want to watch tho because the gist of the advert was they realised how hard it was and they won't criticise refs again , and I don't want to feel the same
Just watching goals on Sunday. How the frig Ross Barkley stayed on the pitch is beyond me. His third attempt at breaking a leg only got a yellow whilst Hudds lazy challenge at Goodison last week received footballs current equivalent of capital punishment. It's consistency that lacking, and although the game has more than enough rules and changes already it's becoming obvious the officials need help again for key incidents because there is so much at stake financially these days.. let alone league status. rant over.
