The teams in mid-table seem to have settled down for the season. Bit risky considering some teams at the bottom are gaining momentum.
The West Ham boss and the ref obviously did their research on our city and it's customs. I'm referring to legging up day
Do you know even at one down I was chilled today...knowing the boys would turn it around second half.. Uncanny or what??
Our fans should be encouraged to go to Stoke and Southampton in beach wear, take their beach balls and sign 'Y Viva Espana' for the entire game
so... beat boro, watford & sunderland at home and we're on 36 points... then a surprise win from one of the other games and we stay up on 39 points?
Referee was again absolutely terrible today. We talk often about worst refereeing performance ever etc. This was a joke - they are supposed to be professional, his performance was far from professional.
The one that infuriated me (well, one of them!) was when Randolph came out of his box and clattered Hernandez. The referee wasn't even looking at the ball and completely missed the obvious foul, then looked totally bemused when the City players complained mildly.
Sky have a programme at 7 tomorrow after Super Sunday where they sent Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher to meet the referees. I'm not entirely sure why but I hope they ask them about some of the decisions so far this season.
I'm sure this is one of the worst seasons I can remember for all round poor refereeing. Not just the referee, but assistant referees as well - the one running the line along West Stand had a shocker in the first half. Given many are now full time, I don't think they've improved, if anything it's got worse.
