Perhaps our lot would have woken up last night if someone had thrown a pig at them? please log in to view this image Barnsley‘s game against Sheffied Wednesday had to be delayed this afternoon, after the home fans threw an toy pig at striker Sam Winnall. Winnall left Barnsey for the Owls for an undisclosed fee during the January transfer window, having scored an impressive 48 goals in 116 games for the club. However, despite the dust having settled on the transfer which took place four months ago, Winnall was targeted by the Barnsley fans during his return to Oakwell. And by targeted, we mean a Barnsley fan appeared to take the bizarre step of throwing an cuddly toy pig at the Wednesday front man, an action which resulted in the game being delayed: http://www.talkingbaws.com/2017/04/...able-pig-at-sheffield-wednesdays-sam-winnall/
Can we do rugby on this thread? Leinster 15-3 up over Wasps at half time and good value for it by all accounts. I've nothing against Leinster but I really don't like Stuart Lancaster. Heard him whining about his tough time as England coach on the wireless this morning, not a word on how privileged he was to run his national team. He had most of the same players as Jones and made them play like broken robots.
Clint Hill only gets 45 mins, so no goals today - interesting strategy by the new Rangers manager, Pedro Caixinha, with three half-time substitutions:- Score currently Rangers 1 Motherwell 1 45' Substitution, Rangers. Andy Halliday replaces Clint Hill. 45' Substitution, Rangers. Joe Garner replaces Lee Wallace. 45' Substitution, Rangers. Michael O'Halloran replaces Lee Hodson. Half Time 45'+2' First Half ends, Rangers 0, Motherwell 1. 45'+1' Clint Hill (Rangers) wins a free kick in the attacking half. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39389960 please log in to view this image
Bottom three teams, along with Bristol City, currently all losing, so status quo will hopefully be maintained down there.
Burton significantly help their relegation battle with a late wininng goal after Dean Whitehead was red carded for Huddersfield. 90'+6' Goal! Huddersfield Town 0, Burton Albion 1. Jackson Irvine (Burton Albion) right footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal. Assisted by Marvin Sordell following a fast break. 88' Second yellow card to Dean Whitehead (Huddersfield Town).
Just goes to show that if a team can have a steady season they will do okay in this division. Seems that anyone can beat anyone.
Jackson Irvine played and scored in Australia last week. He must be exhausted and I'll bet Burton didn't fly him back in a private jet

He's a good player and stood out as the man of the match for me when Burton beat us at home. I wouldn't mind it if we signed him.
huedhoipvgtdorruprvpvyeousxmwuvvrhrihpfhgpucuuuyc Sorry about that ... The ball from Arter's penalty just landed on my keyboard!
He's a Melbourne talent, played in the same rep comp as my son a few years back. Got "spotted" by a local guy with connections in Scotland, and moved over. Career going ok by the looks of it. Maybe we'll get mass to have a word
