To continue denying the truth that many have known for a long time is no longer plain ignorance, its downright disgusting and you should be ashamed and embarrassed to continue believing the fairytale you are fed by government officials via main stream media.

Non existant terror organisations ie Al Qaeda
    Non Existant War On Terror

British and American Soldiers have been dying now for too long for you to ignore the truth.

People sign up for the Army with good intentions, when information was not as widely available as it is now.

People sign up for the army because they do badly at school and can't operate within a normal social sphere.
Yeah, maybe some join up to be heroes. Which, again, doesn't say much for their intelligence.

Information not as widely available as it is now? Are you talking about people joining up before the invention of the telesvision or internet? Are morally ambiguous conflicts something recent?

Im not going to make any sweeping generalizations and I think you are out of order. Wether anyone done badly at school or not, signing up for the Army is seen as a career and to suggest that anyone who signs up for the army cannot operate within a normal social sphere is nonsense and extremely insulting to countless great men and women.

The information we are talking about is not available on television and never has been. The internet generation is relatively young and the vast majority of young people are not looking for the information we are talking about. The type of information that would make signing up look stupid.

What information is not available? If this is some conspiratorial nonsense, then yes, I agree that the secret goverment of lizards which rule the planet are keeping it to themselves.

If it's the fact that joining the army will likely lead you to some questionable situations, where there's a reasonable chance of being shot at, that's escaping army candidates then I think that's probably more Darwinian forces in action.

I'll save my accolades for those who are forced to fight, not those who choose to. Particularly when most of them don't understand why they're fighting.

Sorry to say but that's just absolute nonsense. You may know a few soldiers or ex soldiers who may fit into your convenient stereotype package but the speculation you are indulging in is simply through ignorance or wummery.

Well, unless you have evidence to the contrary that's less anecdotal than mine, we'll never know.

Well I never left school with no qualifications, I joined because it was a boyhood dream. Likewise I had no problems whatsoever operating in a social sphere. I'm gregarious by nature as are my two brothers and literally hundreds of other guys I knew. I know many many highly intelligent and sociable individuals who I trusted with my life and would do so again.

How many people do you know like that?

Is that enough or do you know a guy who fits your argument?

I know several who fit in with my view, admittedly not nearly as many as you. But my point about anecdotal evidence is that it's a contradiction in terms. The people you know vs the people I know is a circular debate that could keep us busy all day.
I was half at the WUM, but I'm suspicious of people who join up off their own back.

    Why did you do it?

[edit]Oh, and were you aware of whatever information the OP seems to think is kept from candidates? Whatever that is.

I think he already told you that it was a boyhood dream....

Pointy, I believe you are badly uninformed and you might learn something from Dr Pieczenik if you listen to him for a couple of hours. Infact, in 10 minutes you will have learned plenty.

That's a different name for 'reason'. It's not the same as explaining the reason.

    Could be worse.

Nae danger, Broseph. You've posted over four hours worth of video. Why don't you give us the gist of it? What information is being kept from us here? I see in your OP you're implying that we, the readers, should be ashamed to believe mainstream media. Why's that then?

    Some possible reasons for joining the forces;

    1) to put yourself into extreme situations and find out what sort of person you are, really.

    2) To make a genuine contribution to the country you live in.

    3) Because civilian life looks a bit boring.

    4) To gain a sense of belonging to something greater than yourself.

Really? Well I left school with 6 "O" grades and was going to do my Highers but fancied something different. I've now got an HND in Data Comms Engineering, various qualifications in satellite comms, management and have recently passed PRINCE2. I am also currently working towards getting my CCNA accreditation which is a nightmare but I'm doing fine.

Many others who I work with have similar qualifications and indeed many have degrees so you're talking utter **** <ok>

As for not being able to function within a normal social sphere <doh>

The forces guys I know are aw dicks man pure roasters and they beat their wives annat.

    See what I did there?

OK. Apologies to the members of the forces here whom I've offended. I really was half at the WUM.

I still want to know what the secret information you should have received is though.

Pointy, your comments have shown that you are not nearly as smart as you think you are, the point of the video was for you to watch. If I wanted to go into things myself I would have spent 4 hours typing an article. But coming from me, its easily fobbed off as insane conspiracy. Coming from Dr Pieczenik and his bombproof credentials, it is undeniable. I got tired long ago of trying to wake up sheep like yourself.

There is so much disinformation out there that I did forgive people for ignorance, but not anymore. Watch the videos.

I thought men joined the army because it's a well known hotbed of gay sexual activity. No?

If that was the case, you'd have joined in jig time.
