Ridiculous comment. We've shown plenty of heart and backbone in recent weeks. Feels like Marco beginning to lose the plot on team tinkering though. I feel he has gone to 3-5-2 to accommodate having more than 2 fit centre backs, rather than it being the right thing to do. And how there's no room for Meyler in midfield today with Huddlestone out, I've no idea.

I think more to do with the fact Marco doesn't buy into this strange logic that lots of running around makes a quality player and recognises the fact that Meylernsimply isn't very good.
He seems to want to shoehorn Markovic in and he can't play him in a 4-4-2 because he doesn't track back. Not sure what he does do at the moment. Hopefully score a brace and set up Niasse for another.
