Off Topic TV Shows/Movies Thread

Well I wouldn't mind a sip or two ... insipid ? Amazing how beauty collides in the eyes among the masses . I remember some going on about Scarlet Johansson and although very pretty , not near top for me . Robin from " How I met Your Mother " is very a Peeling to me . This thread got me to start watching Game of Thrones a 2nd time last night with the old lady . Super Show .

 

Vikings was good too and the main guys blonde Mrs is stonking too

 

Prison Break is about to restart. Is it any good? Heard a lot about it but never got around to watching it.

 

I enjoyed it up until it went from virgin channel to sky then didn't bother same as lost.

 

I always intended on buying Lost after it finished and watch it straight through, but I heard that the ending was extremely piss poor?

 

I enjoyed silicon valley was funny n clever

 

Everyone enjoys a bit of silicon

 

Homeland is my favourite show at he moment. I'm always gutted when an episode ends and I have to wait until next week.

Outlander is pretty good , as is Boardwalk Empire . The old lady watches Vikings , but I've not yet watched any of it ..

I have never seen 1 episode of GofT and want it to stay that way, so I will be one of a very small minority who hasn't tried it.



Really enjoyed walking dead tp till about series 5, don't like it now, watched S6 and have started S7 but all the **** close up filming with cameras spinning round people is doing my head in. Just film it as you used all these so called clever shots are just ****e.

 

Missing a super show lefty . On the lighter side , just finished watching 6 seasons of " Ballykissangel " from the library , that was fun ..lol . A bit like the Irish version of Coronation Street

 

Missing a treat Trunds. For me, after 24, GOT is the best tv show ever made. If not, read the books at least. They're better than the show imo.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed Breaking Bad & Justified, also Satellite City as a bit of light relief.

 

season 1 is great, season 2 is bearable, give the rest miss or better still just stop at the end of season 1.

GoT, Dexter (up to season 4 anyway) and my all time fave in the Wire.

Utopia was also pretty cool (british series)

Started watching GoT from the beginning (again) to get me in the mood for S7. Missed loads last time, so much is going on, its like watching a new show.

Cant be arsed with walking dead since its become the yawning dead. What the hell happened to Negan? went from the worst bad ass to an annoying skinny ass in two episodes. Someone should just slap his face, what a gimp.

Love Scifi, fave shows Babylon5, Battle Star (second coming). Currently into The Expanse, love it, superb. Fave movies 2001, Blade Runner, Aliens and I think I'm the only person on the planet who thought Prometheus was good.

 

I agree with the Walking Dead, enjoyed the early series just gone down hill. I did watch the start of the first GofT last night and switched it off, don't get what all the fuss is about.
