What a sad situation this all is, if you enjoy going to city but have stopped or are considering stopping then your weekends are probably never the same and on the other hand if you stay and the stadiums under half full after all the good times and big crowds again it will also never seem the same, what a sad situation for city fans whether you go or not

They would love to see you Cry mate so I'd laugh at their utter contempt of our City.

Is anyone surprised at this? You really shouldn't be; the owners are consistent.

Where next? It sounds like many more will lose not just their love of going to City, but their passion for the game, too.

Has Ehab won? No, it was never a fight, how could it be? I really don't see what staying away will achieve if you really would rather go and enjoy the game.

This has to be fought through the media, but even that will be difficult, as only poor results and relegation will offer any weight to protests or HCST articles.

Perhaps someone, with connections in the rag-trade, could come up with a whole new 'alternative' shirt, vivid colours that stand out (a protest shirt with a anti-Allam badge - there is the imagination and talent on here). Include scarves, hats, etc. and make money on it. Start an identifiable anti-Allam Army, with the slogans, so folk can support the team but not the owners - far from it.

If you completely stop 'people fiddling' then surely that would cover all ages of people?

And just after the January transfer window and those staged interviews, many on here were convinced he was trying to offer the olive branch

“Watching football should be like breathing air – free of charge.”

I'm just waiting for my bill for £21pm to breathe air. Just so he stays a man of his word.

"The price of your air is no longer locked in."

It speaks volumes when a lot of us get the same seats for cheaper yet we're still annoyed at what he believes is "good news". Only the Allams can give you something for cheaper but still piss you off.

Man Utd did this with their yellow and green scarves and it was effective.

Hull (ish) born and bred, I'm ashamed to admit had I used a Venn diagram, it would have been so much clearer

Dutch has suggested alternative 'club' clothing before, and some of the tshirts (like the irrelevant ones) have been really good, although without creating an alternative brand

Maybe a whole range of clothing using the 'What a horrible pair of ****s' brand name ?
Obviously to catch on in marketing terms you might want to shorten it to 'What a ****ing horrible pair of ****ing ****s'?

Its unbelievable what could have been and the reality, has fans we understand all we want to do is support and be proud of our football team but I'm afraid when you have people in charge who only think of themselves and who want to do things their way without negotiation then its going the way it is, very sad some will walk others like me stay and hope but has I say its such a sad situation I just hope one day sooner rather than later that new owners do come in, concessions which don't affect me but really hope they come back and hopefully many missing fans and I know not all will come back but hopefully some will return but unfortunately at this moment in time its not likely. All very sad whether you go or not

I think some were just desperate to see a change of direction from them - it was never happening, it's not in them, we were warned by some right at the start of their tenure how it would be and they've been proven correct.

I was out on the bike last weekend and went through Gainsborough, as we passed Trinity's ground coming in the other direction was the Darlington 1883 team bus, the team who were our opponents in the last ever fixture at BP are now defunct and plying their trade in National League North. Should our club continue along it's present destructive path, worst case scenario ....... could that could be our future?

Stumbling upon Silva and then stage managed interviews (which many fell for) appear to have supressed negative feeling. Time to step it up now.
