KPR. Its like us being called Geordies.

By the way, who is your favourite in Boyzone?

Empire vs USA- why would we want to talk about that on a Sunderland x Liverpool thread? There are plenty of books on it.

Sunderland vs Liverpool- I think it will be a good game, not sure if you are going to come after us from the beginning or look to sit back and use Sessegnon and Gyan to break us down with their pace. Should be a good game and I am looking forward to it.

No worries. btw is the X meant to be X as in "hugs" or just X is a mystery? Thought it meant hugs so talk some s*** but hugs at the end make it all better. lol.

I can see a draw, I just expect us to win because we know it can really set our season off on the right foot and with Arsenal right aorund the corner we need the result to be fair.

"x" means i can find my comments!

We MUST get something tomorrow, otherwise we go into our derby with nil point.

    Cant have that.

    2 - 2 draw. Lovely.

Seeing as how I said I was a military brat, I'm claiming to have lived in all those country. Actually of French and German descent, though. And yes, I am American. Even though the natives were here originally, we now occupy the land. So yes, American not of native American descent. I do hope you aren't insinuating I'm not a true fan because I'm American, are you? Because I don't feel like defending myself again, at least not right now. Hope this was tongue in cheek, no?

By that do mean people who are actually from Sunderland, because we do have thousands of Geordies who support us..

Didn't see the post yet, good. Was hoping we weren't going to start an English vs American debate.

And I had earlier predicted 3-1 with a late goal by kuyt to make it look less close than it truly was. Still stand by it.

Well boys and girls, after what seems like an eternity its finaly here, its match day.

I go into it full of excitement, its sort of better being the underdogs, I hope we win, would be happy with a draw but expect us to lose. That allows me to enjoy the day all the more because I dont have that tension that a home game against QPR would bring. A game we should expect to win but gives that nasty gut wrentching feel.

All I ask is a good showing from the boys in red & white, anything more is a bounus.

The important thing is for everyone to get home safely, no daft bother and no injured players.

    Enjoy everyone.

Its good the season is starting again..I'll find a pub to watch it!!

I worry about goals so lets see if Sess and Gyan click, would have liked another proven scorer or LW in but I suppose there is a couple of weeks yet.
Not sure who will be the CBs Brown and Anton? f so will they cope with Miss Carol in the air.

Then of course being Sunderland we may win or scrape a draw??

First up, credit to all the Liverpool lads, we've enjoyed your company all week, some great lads and some good banter.

Good luck for the season, & hopefully when the return comes around we're both still in the hunt for something (obviously, your aims will be higher than ours for now).

However, it's matchday, now, i've woke up full of confidence, the sun is shining (actually, i'm on the Costa Del Sol, so that was a given...).

It's gonna be an entertaining 1-1 draw.

Look out for the JTF96 banner, i hope i get to see it <ok>

    WE ARE SUNDERLAND!
