It's not just Trump, but tons of people connected to him to an almost ridiculous level.
He should be finished even without anything to do with Russia, though.
The corruption, nepotism and incompetence is unbelievable.

  3. Fired Trump aide Michael Flynn wants immunity to testify on Russia allegations
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39451358

This from the man who only 6 months ago stated in a TV interview that it was unacceptable that some of the Democratic candidate's aides had been granted immunity from prosecution.
"When you get given immunity that means you've probably committed a crime," <laugh>

Just for people who don't realise, but SMERSH was a real organisation and not invented by Fleming. It was a department of the Red Army during the second world war (it's an acronym apparently which translates as "death to spies"). After the war it's responsibilities were merged into the KGB.

I'm really old and sad because I learned what all those TV show acronyms stood for... like UNCLE, UNIT, TARDIS and the Gerry Anderson ones PWOR, SIG etc (the exception being of course FAB which doesn't stand for anything).

Surprisingly enough, the Senate committee investigating Russia, the election and Trump looks serious, competent and bipartisan (as opposed to the mockery Nunes has made of the House's effort). I'll be more surprised if it stays that way. But what I've heard today from various members makes it sound like they believe Trump was colluding with the Russian election hacking and disinformation campaign, and that they expect to be able to demonstrate that through tracing the trail of money and dead bodies. We'll have to see. In any case, what Senate committee members outlined today was a pattern of Russian "fake news" (a phrase they pointedly used) gaming social media (so that it would trend), and getting picked up by various people, including and perhaps especially Trump.

I"m currently having the jarring experience of listening to a North Carolina congressman with the purest Gomer Pyle accent this side of Jim Nabors explaining why North Carolina needs to repeal an anti LGBT law. It seems impossible to me that anyone who sounds like that would be in favor of human rights. Well, the truth must be I'm prejudiced against some American southern accents. I still remember smiling a little inwardly every time one professor I had said "SophoKLAZE" and "EuripiDAZE."

The Republicans are the party of projection. Anything they accuse someone of is something they've done themselves.
Someone should investigate any pizza they've ordered in the last few years.

How they pronounce the letter is not the issue where they put it IS.

Only because the computers insist on trying to correct my spelling because I use an S not a Z; for example ; apologize or apologise. There is a good argument that Z actually reflects the pronunciation more accurately but it's not how we spell it in English English and constantly having your spelling challenged is annoying and also casts doubt on the accuracy of the spelling , causing AmericaniSation <laugh> of our language. That's a bit of a cheek considering where the language originated and what the **** is Math? A bath with a cold perhaps.

:D all meant in fun btw and what else would you expect from the land of BreZkit.

I feel your pain. Some programmes differentiate between "English" English and "American" English.
