sounds like we deserve it n all. if its not a total transfer ban we are lucky. if it were international it would be fifa and it would be.
I'm pretty sure all blame can be squarely laid at the feet of the head of recruitment and we should fire his ass immediately
Not that bothered, assuming if true lol. One good season doesn't justify a ridiculous price tag, otherwise be given our owners ideas for revenue
In fiarness he has every attribute to be a top top player. However. him and luiz... hmmm one too many guys running forward there.
Only in a back 4. In a back 3 both could run forward and you still have 1 cb and kante covering. In all honesty Luiz doesn't even run forward anymore, conte's worked his magic on him
lol.... you must have missed how we figured you out then all we did was pull to back stick and lob balls in cos luiz was following out lot out and aspi was then the target isolated :0 Put those two together and whie i don't disagree than its better than donkey caihll you will get done VVD is an absolutely brilliant CB, he has it all. but you have to pin those tow properly back.
Because he doesn't want to end up like other liverpool legends of this century. PL-less . So the one chance then . That's like saying Mane is **** at dribbling cause he miscontrolled it and stones tackled him when he could have gone through on goal. Anyway, this "weak spot" hasn't been exposed recently as rather than trying to play the offside trap which moses kept messing up (especially against spurs, against you boys hendos ball was spot on and luiz was admittedly slow getting back, i'm going to do a jimmy and blame it on luiz's injury for his laziness), moses and dave have been attacking the ball. See how we shackled andy carroll against the spammers and all the other long ball merchants we've been playing. Not sure why i'm biting MITOs dangling hook
We play 3 at the back. At the moment its Azpi, Luiz, Cahill. Cahill is a solid and consistent defender but he's very uncomfortable on the ball although he seems to be our main set piece threat. He might throw the occasional clanger but he gets most things right 95% of the time. He will lose the ball if pressed and if he isn't protected he will look pretty bad. He's the sort of defender you want if you are looking for consistency to win a league but if a striker is on the top of his game and cahill is at his best, cahill will get done because he's just your stereotypical solid CB. Luiz on the otherhand is less consistent (although he's been brilliant this year in my opinion). His top level is much higher and technically he is far better. When he throws his clangers its a big one but he hasn't made many this year and he's playing through injury. Dave is a just a great defender. Best 1 on 1 defender i think in the league. Pretty strong and fast and tenacious. For a former full back though i'm surprised by his passing under pressure as i do not think he looks that comfortable and he does lose it more than i thought. Also he does a good job at competing for high balls but there are occasions where hes been beaten to it as he's not that tall (like koscielny) when a taller more physical player has the run on him. Although VVD would be nice and he would possibly take Cahills spot, i wonder where that leaves zouma and ake who i would imagine would be pissed.
I think it's more of a case of having some than having none.... I'd rather have more sanchez's hungry for medals than more walcotts happy to be taking the money and not having to work harder at an ambitiousless club...
