    couldn't see us signing him for 5.5 million, like everyone has sad he is rated very highly and Lyon would want around 10 million plus.

    At the right price? No chance then, unless that 'right price' is 6mil.. Can't see us spending more on a new LB than what we got for Jose.
    Rumours look true that we're interested though. I'd be very happy...

    Liverpool was linked with a £9/9.5m bid for him earlier this summer so I would guess it would be need a bid of around that to get accepted. Can I see us spending £3/4m on top of the Enrique fee for him? Nope. :(

    it's pieters heard this was done and dusted before we sold jose but due to the bereavement the announcement was put off will be announced on Monday

    He'd be an amazing, if highly unlikely signing. Although if Ben Arfa & Cabaye get on the case then who knows. He'll cost more than £5.5m though. I'd be more than happy with him or Pieters.

    This fella is an absolute class act! He was my number 1 unrealistic left-back target for this summer (along with Leighton Baines). Him or Pieters and I will be chuffed! Both are full-internationals, and it sounds as though Pieters wants to come. We have Ben Arfa and Cabaye to try and convince Cissokho too :D

    Mike Ashley wouldn't. I don't see much coming from this unless Lyon accept £5.5m which is unlikely given they paid 15m Euros for him in July 09.
