They rebranded as 'Scope', leading to a playground craze at my school of running up to kids with your tongue tucked firmly under your bottom lip shouting "scopeeee".
Viking FM and their endless loop of 5 **** songs. The people at work who put Viking FM on the radio. That Rock-a-Bye 'song'. Horrible, repetitive, shallow, dirge. Hearing Sean Paul say 'daily struggle' really makes me want to throw the radio at work throught the window. It's a daily struggle not to. I just found out it spent 9 weeks at number 1 in the charts. My god that just confirms the death of music charts.
Fishing. Lets put a hook through a living creature's mouth. Pull it out of the water. Parade it around, weigh it, photograph it whilst it is suffocating. Then chuck it back in and not worry about the damage caused to it in the process. Or kill it. FisherPeople are ****s.
We had a lad called Skippy, I naively assumed it was because he was from Australia but may have had something to do with the fact he had a walking defect
I don't mind that particular song but I really ****ing can't stand lyrics like the one you've mentioned, where extremely privileged people with questionable actual talent are singing about how hard they work or something similar. It's incredibly arrogant and irritatingly common among rappers/RnB/hip-hop/ singers.
Yes, the "distressed" look, rotting wood and peeling paint, makes a street look so much more appealing.
People who think Game of Thrones is the pinnacle of television. It's not. It's so ****ing far from not it goes all the way around and comes back again. In fact, bung Game of Thrones in there.
Drivers who don't indicate, especially the inconsiderate bastards who turn right into Stanley Street from Spring Bank who assume the people behind them are mind readers. Drivers who don't know how to use a roundabout.
For a lot of people replacing rotting wooden windows with upcoming is the best and cheapest option I would imagine.
Especially the bastards who don't indicate approaching from your right at a roundabout or junction and you stop to give them the right of way and they blithely turn left. You miss your chance to pull out and are stuck as there is a load of cars behind them and you don't know if they are carrying on or will turn left without indicating like the previous ****s.
It may well be the cheapest, it's never the best (not on a house anyway, the matt grey stuff looks okay on industrial building conversions, but the rest always looks crap)
