Leo why even bring this up?? The whole matter had been dealt with on the riot thread and everyone had apologised for their part in things. Whilst there were a few problems with comments made, including the off-topic one i made (which was a joke at Norway's expense). The posts were removed simply because the language got a bit too hot. We never Mod a disagreement!

This is the first time anyone has questioned how i moderate the site and it seems to be you who has the most questions, either as Art or Leo. We simply thought the topic could remain in the nest. The thread was a good one, but it did cause friction over petty things. I simply dont think this would have happened in the nest.

I don't want to get involved but I was pleased the discussion was taken out of the nest and put in a thread which I have nearly completely ignored.

Morning all - all prepared and ready to fly down to The Vic. Been to the gym and had a nice fry-up, now gagging for a few pints and a catch up with the chaps...

Anyone going to the Curry & Quiz night on the 18th?

Afternoon all, why is it that on match day there always seem so many things requiring your attention? No matter how carefully you plan something crops up that has you rushing to make sure that you will be close up with the computer at kick off. Just a short break for a bite to eat and catch up with the latest news. Has there been any?

Public holiday Monday and a great deal going on in preparation for the influx of visitors to our small commune. Under 200 live in the village and hamlets most of the year, but on Monday we will have nearly 10,000 come to the big day of the year.

I left the cricket at about 11:30 with India 3 down. I look up the lunchtime score and find :

The session? 26 overs, 81 runs, five wickets.

WHERE IS THE INDIAN'S BACKBONE? When all seems lost, real men keep going.

I did see a comment that made me smile: "Now that our lead is below 400 should we be setting a more defensive field?"

a few years ago...not me! lol..now, with this team, anything seems possible! Though there are those critics who say that we are not the best team, it's just that everyone else is rubbish, but that seems harsh to me!

i think they are better than that, it is an all round performance with every player giving a share. We also have people in the wings waiting to replace any injured player, that's what has made us number 1.

Oh and by the way Wales lead 6-3
