For anyone watched it, how was the racing today? Does it look like it might be difficult to overtake as predicted?
I enjoyed it , but yes , I think overtaking may be more difficult , but not impossible . Cars LOOK fantastic , Drivers love them , but they still sound poor . Williams in the points , that will do for me
This is what is Soooo annoying about him , he is an utterly brilliant driver , and British , but he is SUCH A MASSIVE TW@T !
Nice to see Suzy Perry presenting again where she is best suited and comfortable. On BTSport and MotoGP.
MotoGP race was on, then delayed, then the riders went out for a sighter, and nearly all of them shook heads on one corner. It's naughty. Race delayed further. Problem being that Losail is at night, and the lights flash off the track and frighten the bjeezuz out of people. No Sun either. And no intermediate tyres this season. These problems are peculiar to the Qatar race.
Phew.! That was a fairly breathless MotoGP race in the end. Places changing here, there and everywhere. Maverick Vinales [Yamaha] won, with Andrea Dovizioso [Ducati] in second, and the 38 year old Doctor, Valentino Rossi [Yamaha] in third. They dropped the World Champion, Marquez [Honda] later in the race, and had a right old tussle, after they all had had a right old tussle including him. Great start to the new season. Roll on Argentina.
Yeah, that was a shame. I was getting a cup of coffee at the time and heard the commentary team go 'OOOOH.!'
Well done to India on winning the Test match series against the Aussies, however it would be great if they could go to Australia and give them a beating there for a change.
Konte beats Halep in 3 sets to reach semis in Miami. Was a bit of a hash brown of a match, but Konte found form when it mattered and Halep fell apart.
She is. If she carries on like this and stays fit I can see her being a top 5 player definitely and quite possibly a top 3. I'm pretty sure there's a couple of Grand Slams in her too. Still on tennis, I'm disgusted that Shriekapova is back playing. She's a drugs cheat but only got a 1 year ban. The cynic in me wonders whether a lower-ranked ugly player would have had a longer ban, but seemingly, Shriekapova is "good for the game." Good for keeping men's bums in seats, I suppose...
Her serve was letting her down in this match...she couldn't get her first serve in. She managed to somehow win the second set and won the third set because she has a calm temperament and her opponent was still thinking about how she lost the second. On her day, Konta is better than this and will win major tournaments soon.
Well I for one (man) would never pay to watch her play. Her irritating noises and pacing back and forth drive me crazy and I can't watch more than 2 of her service games before switching over to anything else!
