I'm not a huge fan (I reckon he's a yard too slow to be a top player) but if we stay up this season we'll owe him a big debt of gratitude for a great contribution. So, it'll be the respectful appreciation from me.
Don't get the Snodgrass or Jake haters, both Gabe everything when they played for us, jumped ship to get away from the most poorly run club in the league to stable and safe employers, why wouldn't you? The allams have driven thousands of fans away why the surprise when that results in players doing the same?
Without him we wouldn't even be close to safety we would be bottom of the table with very few points so I think a gentle round of applause before the game. During the game, I don't care if they had Ashbee, Dawson and Barmby playing for them, we need to back our team and sing our hearts out for them as we need every point we can get.
I have nothing against Snodgrass...apart from him playing for the opposition Therefore he is the enemy...**** him
You can guarantee he`ll score against us, it`s written in the stars, i`m just hoping we manage to score two on the day and make his `goal` irrelevant. As for his reception, matter of choice, he provided us with some good memories, but then manufactured a move, so the jury is out with me, but that said he was only looking after his own best interests, i`m sure many would have done the same.
No problem with Jake who trained and played well till leaving . However I have mixed emotions regarding The Snod , as he played an important part in getting points for us . Then he allegedly refused to train and play for us . That second part really rankles if true . If Snodgrass plays then I hope he does nothing to help them to victory and City have the last laugh .
Any Snodgrass or Livermore hate is small time bollocks. They had good reasons to leave and they served us very well. As always with well regarded former players, warm and respectful applause before kickoff.
Marco Silva walked in and Snodgrass firstly said to him that he wouldn't play for city again ... **** him ... he is the past and did he repay the faith the club did in the rehab ? not for me
