Organized criminals have a network of dealers and a host of foot soldiers on the ground. The kids getting killed every week on the streets of London are part of this distribution network. I used to get a bus from Kensington high Street past lots of embassies where they have armed guards next to Bayswater road occasionally they would stop us and ask for ID.
If I hopped over the fence with a backpack towards Kensington palace I would expect to be shot.

The Police don't shoot whoever they fancy, this is a myth promoted by twats. The shooting at Stockwell was after one of the most heinous terrorist acts in London where the Met were on full alert and the intel the armed officers received gave them the reason to shoot De Menezes.

The firearms officers repeatedly asked for confirmation of the suspect's ID and got the green light to use maximum force and shot him.

The firearms officers did their job, their intel was flawed and De Menezes was a completely innocent and tragic victim. No amount of excuses from the Police would satisfy me if it had been one of my nearest and dearest and no wonder his family kept up their campaign for so long.
