Ye know what really pisses me off? See these companies like google, amazon etc who are avoiding tax (billions) yet people are happy for our most vulnerable to be persecuted for claiming peanuts in comparison.

So , a family whose gross income is 200k per annum gets free paracetamol ...

A woman who earns 80k per year can get a free university course

A man with good health insurance and good earnings can join the already large que for knee ligament surgery

What is fair? it's what our government implemented. We pay them to make decisions on stuff like this. There's a lot I don't agree with pud. They're changing rules on some medical stuff, paracetamol etc not being available on prescription.
Huge changes are needed in all areas.
My old dad has his own house in knightswood. Should he need to go into a nursing home, he will have to sell it and use the money for his new place.
I think that's quite right. My siblings don't. They want their 'share'.
Things need sorting. Perhaps under our own Scottish government may be a first step?

 

I benefitted from it too. I'd never have gotten my qualis without it.

 

We shouldn't ignore any of it. The biggest shysters should be at the top of the hit list though!!!

 

The nursing home situation should also be means tested ... those who can afford it should pay and those who can't should not be forced to sell their family home.

 

We have a Scottish Government FFS. The same one who is responsible for everything you're moaning about above.
