Oh and the council gets to use the stadium, or "multi-purpose facility", whenever they want

Clearing the debt had precisely nothing to do with his purchase of the club.

He has a fixed agreement to buy the remaining shares of the 3 other main shareholders.

Moshiri never said he'd be paying for the stadium, why would he? It needed to be funded by the club and he's found a clever way of doing it.

He's put £80m cash into the club, not £20m your alternative 'facts' are tedious and utter bollocks <ok>

    Nope, that's incorrect.

The SPV is merely the guarantor that has access to cheap cash due to the councils ability to borrow at far cheaper rates than a commercial business, the 1.45% estimated rate of borrowing will see the council get the equivalent of a further 1.45% (£4.4m) making the effective borrowing rate for EFC 2.9%. Which is way less than they'd be able to borrow that amount of cash for in the commercial market. So it's a win / win for both parties.

Moshiri guarantoring the loan himself still wouldn't see the club being able to borrow at that low level of interest.

The lease repayments like all leases will effectively reduce over time due to inflation. The SPV has a 200 year lease on the land and the club will have the right to purchase after 40 years for an as yet undisclosed sum.

Moshiri providing the loan himself would allow Everton to borrow at 0% interest, like FSG did with the new stand

Your last set of accounts (2015) show that you're carrying £95m of debt, FSG might have now funded the stand but what's the repayment schedule? You might find out when the next set are published in May.

No Evertonian expected Moshiri to fund the stadium out of his own pocket.

Start a petition, it'll flood, the bent council helping dem blues, you can't afford it, etc etc it's ****ing hilarious tbh.
