Morning reds! I brought this up in the pub thread a week or so ago, 2 days left now till the season starts and you get a chance to win some money in Sky Sports Super 6.

Adds a bit of fun to the weekend and it involves predicting scores so I thought I will try and post a reminder every week where we can also discuss our predictions for the games selected.

Games selected this week (and my score predictions)

    BLB v WOL (2-1)
    FUL v AST (1-1)
    LIV v SUN (2-0)
    QPR v BOL (1-0)
    TOT v EVT (2-1)
    WGN v NOR (1-0)

For those who don't know anything about it, the details are below:

    How it works:

It's FREE to play Soccer Saturday Super 6!

First you must register to play Soccer Saturday Super 6. All you need to do is click join in and complete your details to register. It’s a quick and easy process plus you can then use your Super 6 login to play Sky Sports Fantasy Football.
If you have a Sky Bet account, we’ve made it even easier for you to play. Simply use your Sky Bet User ID and PIN to log in, and you can start predicting straight away!

    Making your predictions

    Get thinking!
Simply predict six correct scores for our selected Saturday matches for your chance to win £100,000! To make your predictions you will need to login at the top of this page.
Matches will normally be Premier League games, with Championship and League 1 and 2 games used on occasion. All matches start each week at 3pm every Saturday. Your entry needs to be in by this time sharp!
On a Sunday Special weekend you are able to be submit your predictions for the selected match straight after the normal Saturday game ends. This is normally around 5.15pm. Predictions must be in before kick off of the selected Sunday fixture.

    Super 6 Golden Goal

    It's all about the goals!
In addition to the correct score predictions, you’ll also need to make a prediction for the Golden Goal.
The Golden Goal will be used as a tie-breaker to determine finishing positions when two or more people have the same number of points in a Super 6 game. The person who correctly predicts (or is closest to) the actual time of first goal scored in any of the six matches featured in a Super 6 game will win. If two or more finalists predict Golden Goals which were equally close to the time of the first goal, the prize will be split equally amongst those players.

    Results

    How did you do?
You get one point for each match where you correctly predict the actual score in the game. In the event of two or more players having the same number of points, the Golden Goal will come into play with the player who has correctly predicted or came closest is then declared the winner.
You can check how well you did each week in My Account and you’ll also be able to check your position in the monthly and season leagues.
Don't forget, if you correctly predict all 6 matches in one week you could net yourself our jackpot of £100,000!

    Good luck lads! <ok>

I did this last year and always seemed to get the Liverpool results wrong! Which then ended up in me selecting Liverpool to lose and they started to win again (which coincided with the time Kenny took over) but I think it was more to do with my predictions than anything!

I don't want to say I single handedly turned our season around but yeah....

So 2-0 Sunderland then....at least if you won the money it would compensate the loss. <ok>

So it could all go down to the golden goal if we win. ;)

    :emoticon-0173-middl

I made a post the other day about women being better at predicting scores than men because they don't think logically about it or they're not as biased.

I asked my Mrs to do the scores for me but she was frickin useless! :headbang:
