Thanks for that Smithers. You go beyond expressing an opinion, in my opinion that is! I have read many of your posts over the last few weeks without comment, but now is the time to say it as it is. If you believe that you can manage SCFC better that TP I suggest you go and knock on Mr Coates front door and offer your experienced services? No? Thought not!! I am at the point now where I will probably ditch this site and spend what little time I have to blog on the Oatcake Fanzine. All in all a more positive experience! UTP!!!!!!

If Pulis signs 2 or 3 more forward thinking players as good as the 2 defenders he has signed then it will be a cracking transfer window. Well said Passtheoatcakes & Ricc. As with Oatcakes I have read a lot but not commented. I have said more than once remember 31st August last year. Have some faith in guy who has brought us into to the EPL and also remember where we were in May!!! Yes he has had a fair amount to spend. Yes not all the signings have come good. But is that not the case with the majority of managers? It was not a given once TO had some cash to get us where we are today. So that is all form me for today and hope to see you there tomorrow. Good morning PTO, Jose, Tenterden and all of you who NEVER read my posts properly, Let's get this straight, once and for all, I do NOT hate anybody, not even Pulis, hate is a silly schoolgirl word and I am not a schoolgirl. What I do feel, is an intense dislike of his attitude, his negativity, his favouring certain players, his set up for away games, his set up for some home games, is that enough to be going on with?? If you are happy with that lot and most of you would agree on say 75% of that list, then all I can say is, good for you!! That's your opinion!! All I would do is question why? and please don't use the old comeback, look where we were 3 or 4 years ago, £80Million later, well again, if you are happy with that, then good for you. I have said in the past, well done Pulis, for the promotion and keeping us in the PL. I said midway through last season, that whatever the outcome OF the season and irrespective of where we ended up, IN MY OPINION, I did NOT want to see Pulis associated with Stoke City in anyway shape or form. Nothing has changed my opinion, nothing will. Now guys, if you cannot handle that, then tough luck, you seem to think it's personal, that I am having a go at the Pro Pulis People, not so, just disagreeing with you, that's all. The bottom line is of course, we ALL want what's best for our beloved team!!! - for you it's Pulis, for me it is not

And Cris, will see you tomorrow at the Harvester, as I will need a pint to steady my nerves Like many folks, I come on here when I can and all I ask (as Potts and tenterden have said many times recently) is that we cut TP some slack at least until the transfer window has closed and we have played a few months worth of matches!!! We have already won our first game in Europe against decent opposition and we all know that the squad is painfully thin at the moment. I personally hope we do what is necessary to bring Barton and Bendtner into the fold. But all of this is going to happen right down to the wire, as that is the nature of the beast, folks hanging out for the best deal they can get.... One concern I do have with bringing in players at this level is the destabilising effect they may have on the rest of the lads, the likes of Walters etc and this is where I come back to the point that we have to trust the manager! He has the day to day job of holding the team together. We, as punters, do not see the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes just to control the considerable egos of guys that earn more in a week than most of us earn in a year! Just KTF guys, get behind the team and above all the manager. We may not always like his methods but I tell you what, give me TP every day of the week over the likes of Holloway, Allardyce and Coyle!! KTF and UTP!!!!!! Sorry Nick I do read your posts and I know EXACTLY what you are trying to say. The problem I have is the level of NEGATIVITY on this site!!! God I am normally a glass half empty kind of guy but some of you on here don't even have a glass!!! Barely a ball has been kicked and you are lining up a taxi to drive TP out of town! Nothing to do with schoolgirl mentality, just stand back, chill out and enjoy the bloody ride while it lasts!!!!!!!! Yes debate, yes agree to disagree, but let's not descend into TP lover and hater camps. We all share a passion and that is SCFC. Well, I did actually think of quitting this site, then I went onto the Oatcake site. Read loads of comments on there and didn't fancy it at all. So, it's back to league action on Sunday. Thank God we are for me anyway it's why we are all on here in the first place. End of the day, we all think we can do better than T.P. at least it seem's some of us think we can. Of course I personally don't and I'm sure Nick doesn't. It's just the negative approach away from home, I hate it with a passion. So, I think it's best I don't say anymore on that. I will of course get behind the team on Sunday and as always KTF. Obviously there is some form of misunderstanding, or lost in translation text! If you have read my posts you will see that I actually said "I dont think we should get rid of TP" even though I detest his arrogance and also said " we must judge TP when the transfer window has closed" and "the results from the first 7/8 prem games will justify his decession". I also said "what a great job he did in getting us through the first 2 European games"! Where in those comments does that translate into - Sack TP, Fuk him off, He's fukin w4nk, His signings are sh1t etc? It doesn't! There is either an intellect gap or differnet understanding on the english language! So I would suggest you go back and reread! For people to start threads slating anyone for not w4nking Pulis off is a disgrace! I respect the opinion of some users that they think TP is the messiah, however I feel he is equal and no better to many other managers! I have expressed an opinion on all players we have been linked with (good & bad) and will continue to do so. More importantly I will support whoever wears the shirt regardless of the fact they they will most probably played out of position! So how the fuk does that make me a non caring, negative unrealistic fan who expects Messi to sign? It doesn't, it just will not fit with some posters on here who can not debate, discuss and use facts to support their perceptions. They just resort to using childish retorts and attack fellow bloggers - pathetic!
And thats the issue! Some fans show concern for Stoke (squad & club) and some just for Mr Tony Pulis! They also forget (and I have said this before) that TP probably doesn't have the final say on all transfer targets and the way the transfer fee & wages are structured - everything has to be signed and agreed by Scholes & Coates! Pulis didnt get us to where we are today! Coates, Scholes, Pulis (and all coaching staff past and present) all the squad (including loan sigings) and all the fan base and not just those who are season ticket holders now, got us to where we are now! Pulis is an average size cog in pretty big machine!
