No mate, it's going to be a purpose built football stadium

IF there's a requirement for a CG venue then there could be the option of doing what they did at Hampden by building a raised platform to provide a track. But it won't be built as an athletics venue like the COM and Olympic stadiums were

I don't think it should be either but it is mentioned in the docs. provided by LCC and once again Joe can't hold his own water on it. Also mentions - can't remember exact wording - the design will be with City's heritage in mind. I'm hoping for a classy warehouse type thingy or else a maritime theme like that one I posted ages ago. It will be brilliant having an exceptional stadium on the site but please no bowls .....

I think we discussed this before, but I don't think it'll be a faux offering i.e. A building designed to look of an age. It can be cutting edge modern and still reflect the City's heritage

I agree and it's always down to interpretation anyway, I was just stating my preference from designs I've seen. English Heritage are on board as one of the 'interested parties' in passing the design so let's hope it will reflect the reality of heritage and not the young American girl architects take on it.

Don't forget the Council's part in the stadium is now quite significant. Joe's set that up in such a way that the club could be manoeuvred into accepting an option that puts CG first or no deal.

The club won't accept the compromise of a running track, as Moshiri's brief to Dan Meis was to reproduce the atmosphere of Goodison. The temporary addition of a raised track would be the way to fulfil both needs.

    Useless fact for you lol.

Of all our players out there today, apart from goalies for obvious reasons, every player has scored for our great club except kvarme.

    ****ing fraud <laugh>

4th place now behind France, Sweden and Bulgaria (halfway through group stage). There is still some serious talent in that squad but its the

Good news is only Lallana is in the starting line up for England. Hopefully he will only play part of the game and avoid injury. Apparently Surridge's broken fingernail has still not healed so he was not even in the squad

1 up at half time. I am sure if it stays like that the media will be creaming themselves and hyping up the possibility of us winning the World Cup. It is Lithuania for god's sake, we should be 4 up at half time.

We have such an average team. Lallana has been good since Klopp came in and is important to us, but still miles off the worlds best. Vardy, had a good season, but international standard? Sterling is a man who just doesn't seem to have pushed on his development. Dier really is just that, suited to Tottenhams defensive game, but boring and other big international teams have sitting midfielders who will offer so much more.

Thats just picking on a few of them, but terribly average all over.
