In that case here are my two pence: Bozz and luvgonzo have both come onto the Chelsea board over the last few months and contributed in ways that can only be described as admirable, neither antagonistic or patronising, just good crack. Bozz is obviously already a mod, but if luvgonzo has the time to commit I would say he should be seriously considered given his balanced view point Here endeth my ****e. Many thanks.
That gave me an idea. Maybe each candidate can submit a paragaph to be put in the voting thread giving reasons on why they should be given mod status. They can include contributions/blogs/quotes from other members and it could make it more easier to decide when it comes down to the actual voting.
Why not have a Miss World type election,In the 1st round the candidates wear bikinis and tell us about themselves and all the charity work they do. Then in the 2nd round they get to wear evening attire and show us their personalities and how they have fun,then we vote 3rd,2nd and finally crown our new mod. Failing that we should stick to your plan b4f.
I reckon if we put all the members in Bikinis and made them post the pictures, we may find that the board becomes just a bit quieter....

If i was ever asked to be mod i would do it, and do a good job. But I'm not into the idea of putting myself forward and all that. I declare myself out Good luck to all candidates.
