Neither life is more valuable than the other, if you can't see why that is, you're an idiot.

Shouldn't you be living in a squat, without electricity and internet and any other utilities that need to be paid for, and also not be using any electronic device manufactured by a global corporation?

Or are you a special sort of anarchist who is really rebelling from mummy and daddy with the comfort blanket of that same mummy and daddy?

Seriously though, you should give it a go. Stop aiding The Man by supporting mass consumerism and capitalism. Start by stopping using the internet.

The police officer receiving more donations could be down to the fact the family would have lost the wage earner? This tends to sit in most people's minds I think when donating? It's a long time to bring up a family on a widows pension! It's terrible news about the others of course and hopefully out government will step in with help? ( I'd hope so )

But I think it sits in people's minds? I'm not saying it's correct! And without knowing her details hopefully she had some sort of travel (or whatever foreign workers ) insurance like the American? Again hopefully her family will be looked after in some way?

Sorry to say this but, maybe it is because he had a choice and she didn't? Nothing to do with losing a wage earner, just were peoples sympathies lay.

The other halves will have life insurance.

Although technically speaking it is an act of god. I'm not sure where life insurance cover stands on such matters. If your car was damaged in the excursion you'd be ****ed.

No, because as I said before, that would be as ridiculous as saying to a Medieval peasant, 'if you don't like feudalism that much, stop eating food'. The so-called 'iPhone argument' is crap. By that logic, I could say to you 'shouldn't you being working in a poor house with no worker's rights' considering the role anarchists and other leftists had in trade unionism and winning worker's rights in the first place.

The fact you're actually calling yourself an anarchist is hilarious! What have you actually done that defines you as one?

No amount of money, great or small, can compensate for the loss of a loved one. How do you put a price on what could've been?

Not telling you, pal, MI5 might be listening.

Nah, in all honesty, helping the homeless when the state won't, attending political rallies, meeting with other groups etc. It's not exactly Orwell in Catalonia but it's the least I can do for now.

Spook the one thing missing from any of your posts is any sympathy for the victims, respect for the Police Officer or condemnation of the terrorist.

Your quote. "You say it like violently resisting an imperial power is a bad thing. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter and all that."

    Serious question.

    Condemn or Condone?

    Freedom fighter or terrorist?

Murdering bastard or someone sacrificing his life to bring about change in society?

The thing is Spook, you could be coming across as walking along a similar path and that is my honest worry.

Other than not demonstrating any sympathy or condemnation, he does have a point to a degree. Just this week I commented on the different attitudes from the UK to Martin McGuinness and Nelson Mandela.
