I stayed at Minehead in Somerset, pretty sunny down there. I ain't recommending the place but the nightclub did have a definite meat market feel to it, probably more than any other club I've been in.
Talking of the direct approach: anyone remember a TV series probably 20 years ago about a club in Liverpool? There were birds (you wouldn't) telling blokes who'd literally just walked in to "get your coat, you've pulled". They were hanging about by the entrance looking for victims. Potential NOT606 night out?
