They would have had Yaya and Clichy red carded before Sterling even had a chance of thinking about getting near our box <ok>

FFS it's going to be a long international break with @Tobes and @Diego buzzing over Man Utd getting 5th

Well. Been out all night since the game so thought I'd just come on here and have a quick discussion but I see the last couple of pages (at least) have been dedicated to the usual bullshit so I won't bother.
    Have a good night.

And would have sent Toure off before that.

Thank you for that, Mr Oliver. Being so good to us, I suppose asking for Fernandinho to be be booked for 50.1% of the several fouls he committed that were actually penalised is too much. <peacedove>

Obviously we make up rules like Huddlestone should never have been sent off on saturday. Funnily enough, they're the ones the FA publishes in its rulebook too.

So more of Barklay's attempted leg-breakers that he doesn't get sent-off are to be expected. And no, I didn't make that rule up either.

It should be a lot more on both given the positions he gets himself into. <ok>

I was happy with the draw.

I felt lfc were losing their heads and chasing another goal with the whole side lashing forward on every break.

Klavam allowed aguero in behind him and goal. **** defending but i was coming.

I just felt we lacked composure but then we missed an absolute sitter. Worst ever miss imo. Firmino also missed a poor one but they were all over us.

Sky were on about quality and waffling but really it was harem scarem stuff with little shape in second half.

    Good away point.

Not going to get into all the arguing about red cards, I'm glad there were none. It was a great game to watch and two teams went at each other wanting to win it.
    Really good game to watch.

I mentioned this to my oldest, if this had been earlier in the season we have to manage the game and maybe take the point. At this point though I agree with us going for 3.

Don't think it was poor defending from Klavan, it was a great ball and Aguero is quick over a short space like that.

It's fine margins Luv - a better defender would have done more. A better LB would have closed KDB quicker.

To be sincere I have my reservations about Everton's game at Anfield:but would
not settle for a draw, we want to win.

That's being harsh, even the best players in the world make small mistakes during a game. I don't see the goal as an opportunity to pick out faults it's was a great ball and a well timed run.
The way both teams played it was so open that I don't think you can start looking at defenders as they are in a game with no protection as the game is just going end to end, tactically it's a mess. Great fun to watch though eh?

My point on klavan is if you watch him he steps in front of aguero, loses him totally and then can't block.

Matip Marshalled aguero twice in same position by just being tight on the right side.

Klavan basically lost aguero there in the blinds pot if you watch the goal in slow motion.

    Huge weak link
