    It was a money making scheme where it split off from the football league for the benefit of the top clubs.

    Same number of teams, a trophy copied off the European cup and a TV deal.

    Obviously all the rules changed, all the teams were new and the number of players changed too.

    Just focusing on the Premier league era is a bit stupid though. Inevitably it will be re-branded again at some point, then we can talk about how Norwich or someone are the only team to win the English champions league.

    You went to jail zero times as Fred but you have been twice as IBWT. We won the league in its previous format but in premiership form we have not won it. It's really not that difficult to work out :bandit:

    **** sake you lot really, really have problems with simple things. The article stated that United became the first team to win 600 Premier League games, not the first to win 600 top flight games ever.
    Does it hurt that much that you have to drag the past into it?

    I hardly think @Tobes counts things that happened a generation ago since he's so adamant that history is "kopite behaviour"

    Everton and Liverpool have zero PLs, and that's the way he likes it
