Selling Shane and keeping Jay? No, sorry. That makes no sense.

Shane's not great. He's a decent impact sub. Jay.....not so much.

    Right caught up now...

Seems like we played well 2nd half and just lost to the better team... Gabbi getting a knock is a blow.

Shame to see people writing Stephens off, he's a young lad thrown in the deep end... gotta give him time.

See a lot of people saying Davis isn't a DM, mentioned the other day how I'd like to see Pierre get a go alongside him... we really need to assess him & Clasie in that position before Summer comes imo. Does Stephens play DM too or am I imagining that?

I'd too definitely offload Jay in the Summer. I'd keep Long though, easily good enough for 3rd choice.

Really pleased to hear Fraser had a good game today.

Not fussed about losing away to a good spurs side( not title winning). What pisses me off is the inability to give a blatant pen when 10 mins earlier you've given IMO a softer one when Alli goes down( which I think was also a pen). **** refs cost us again with big calls not going our way, gets laughable after a while.

It wasn't just the offsides, passing was poor at times too. I'm not convinced either are good enough tbh but Rodriguez at least has a slim chance of getting back to that level.

Yep mental. Jay is done at this level, needs regular games of he's ever gonna get back to that. Ain't happening here.

Long is Long, we all know his limitations but he's fine as 3rd choice.

Shane is what he is. First touch often, but not always, poor; finishing ditto. But pace to burn, runs all day, knows where the space is going to be, attitude excellent. Definitely keep him. In fact, he's a bit of a ledge imo (well if Franny Benali is a legend...).

The difference between Shane and a genuinely good striker is knowing what to do with that space. He's good backup. Jay for me it's time to move on.

I think the reason i say to keep Jay is just out of blind hope he can get back to his best, because he was absolutely brilliant. I think if I had a cold hearted approach I'd probably say it is time to move on. I really can't make my mind up!

With regards to Long, his game is solely reliant on pace, at 30 years old I wonder if it is time to cash in on him as he won't have that pace for much longer.

Well let's pray for Gabbiadini then, because if he's out for a while, and Charlie isn't ready yet, we could be relying on both Shane and Jay for the rest of the season.

I can see us buying Wells, so Long would be 4th choice. Both can go.
