I really fancy one in the Southwell bumper tomorrow.

The yard are 2 from 3 in bumpers at the track. Two of the siblings won their bumper debuts with one being good enough to contest the Aintree Festival bumper. Another sibling was third on debut so the pedigree is outstanding. The apprentice jockey is one of the yards "go to" jockeys for bumper wins and looking through the ones with racecourse experience they don't exactly set the pulse racing. Fingers crossed I have this right but all the markers in place and with a juicy price to boot.

    GRANIA O'MALLEY 9/1 Southwell 4.40

    2.00 Solveigs Song @ 25/1

As the RP state, dual course winner who is down in grade, and should be getting back to his sort of mark. His win last November over 10f here reads really well and he is back to that mark here.

Hopefully they go fast enough and he can pick them off up the straight. 25s is very big here

I rather like the Wadham mare, BANJO GIRL, in the Southwell 3:10 tomorrow. The yard is bang in form with two nice winners at Sandown last Saturday and were a tad unlucky not to win a handicap at the Festival too! This is just the kind of mare they win with in races like these and by some strange quirk of fate she is a half sister to GRANIA O'Malley. Sure looks like fate to me.

    3.20 Taunton- MOSCOW ME - 12/1

Slipping back to a very decent mark of 104 has won off higher marks in the past and although not been at the best of form this season, looks to be given a great chance with also conditions to suit too

3.50 Taunton - Beltor - 7/2 - no way disgraced in the Betfair and this a much easier assignment

I had pencilled in Hint of Mint for the 3:50 as part of a treble but I'm now intrigued by Beltor.

If I were a betting man I think I would have a sizeable bet on Mr Medic at 15/8 (3.20 Taunton) but because it's possible that A Little Magic might improve for the step up in trip (unproven beyond 2 miles) I would have just enough on that one to cover my stakes (11/2 with Bet365).

Post Cheltenham depression? It does seem rather empty now the Festival is over. Only 17 days to the Aintree Festival. And only 12 days to the Lincoln <laugh>

Just had a look at the trainers in form. Chris Gordon is 10 wins from 14!! Utterly mind blowing is that. Starkie & Ballycoe both run today for the yard.

Amazing run of form for the yard. One of the four losers was their runner in the Imperial Cup who sadly had to be euthanased.

GRANIA O'MALLEY is now 12/1 yikes! I have backed it now at 9's, 11's and 12's. If it wins it will be my biggest single win ever!

Dont forget the Dubai World Cup on Sat Ron!! I wish they maintained a mimumum 4 weeks between Chelters and Aintree - 17 days isnt enough for alot of horses to fully recover from their exploits.

I generally do better at aintree yet I put 100x less effort into it maybe that's why! The fresh horses really do have a huge advantage in the graded races so I'll be looking to take on some of those horses who won/ran well last week

Sorry Don, I just took the major events off the web (obviously only covered UK events).
Depending on how the races are scheduled, it's a minimum 20 and maximum 25 days Don -still short of 4 weeks

Nass, nice spot that, put my Skybet Monday free bet on it in the place only market. 7/2 gives me something to play with today!

good luck with the bumper Stick. I will be having a small dabble!!!

Just put a few quid on Quintus in the 3.00. Place only.....1/1 but paying 4 places, so seems reasonable. Looks well handicapped to me, and Timeform give it a +!!!
