It's a whole sorry state of affairs that desperately needs resolving. Percy's defence of Bullard is baffling. He was handed a chance to play this season and become a part of the maanger's plans, yet he decides to piss all over that chance by pratting about. It's understandable that as an employer if you've given someone a chance to prove themselves then they throw it back in your face you'll be a bit ticked off. Regardless of playing ability, no one player is bigger than the club and past misdemenaours won't have helped Bullard's case. If he doesn't want to be here and play for our team, then we're best shot of him. At his age and with his injury record it would be incredibly naive to think he'd be our talisman, especially when you could get 2 or 3 players to replace him that would benefit the future of the club. I standby my view that if Bullard was truly a football man he'd be long gone by now. If he wants to play football somewhere where he is wanted, why hasn't he gone? It's ****ing greed. I know most of us would love 45k a week and the contract isn't his fault, but at the end of the day a lot of footballers will earn in a week what the average joe will earn in a year. He might not get the lucrative contract he has here, but i can't imagine he'd have a bad wage at any of the clubs who were interested in him. It's pure greed and a sad sign of what football has become these days.

That'll be why he tried to get a move to Leicester then?

Savage didn't want to play under Jewell, Jewell didn't want Savage to play for him. Jewell got sacked for being rubbish. Savage was reinstated and became a legend.

We're just at stage one <ok>

You definitely are one, one what I do not know that's for sure.
One thing I do know is that the more drivel you write on here about your idols the dafter you make yourself look, bit like Tony Murray on the Hull daily fail site, in fact I am convinced that you and he are one.

Good post , it sums this cluster **** of a situation up pretty well.

I have also come to the conclusion that Perry is the most clueless clown on this board.
He really can't see what is happening with Bullard. He's either very immature or a wind up merchant , either way he's a total tit.
My ignore list now has one name on it, he's bored me to death with his constant ,inane drivel .

totally agree and the sooner these ex-pro amateur pundits presently flooding the media start to acknowledge the fact that Bullard and his like typify all that is wrong with football, the better for the game and the supporters ("..who don't necessarily matter anymore anyway.." - Brian Robson). They won't of course because they all have a vested interest in keeping the gravy train moving in the direction it currently is! Gordon Taylor has a lot to answer for in my opinion

What do you mean 40 years time, Percy is stupid enough now, he talks as much crap as Duffen and clearly cares more about alienating the fans than supporting the team.

Actually, if you read Savage's autobiography, you'll see it was actually Adam Pearson who didn't want him at Derby... Pearson said to him "You know Ant and Dec don't you?" Savage said "Yeah, why?" and Pearson said "Why don't you do yourself a favour and see if you can get yourself on I'm a celebrity get me out of here?"

Unless he goes abroad to a country who's transfer window is still open. Like we can still sign players from Brazil even though Tevez's move back to Corinthians collapsed when their window closed. Are the MLS or Arab leagues' windows stil open?
