We played well. Spurs deserved to win. They can challenge for the PL next season.

The ref is always right. There's no evidence to show more decisions are given to 'big' clubs

It wil be interesting to see if Fraser is first choice for the England matches too. Is Hart still technically our no. 1? Don't know how he has been doing over in Italy as I don't have BT to watch Serie A.

Definitely a few things to take away from that game:

    1) Davis looked very uncomfortable in defensive mid. Can't 100% place the blame on him but some very dodgy passes and just didn't have that commanding element in the middle that we need to dictate the tempo of plays.
    2) Looks like it could be a good time to give Cáceres a run in the squad. Stephens not looking bad but could definitely see some inexperience (Mainly to do with constantly running into challenges and leaving glaring gaps in our back line).
    3) That game cements my belief even further that Tadic only has two gears: 'Best player on the field' or 'Didn't even realize he was in the starting 11'.
    4) Puel needs to crack out the salt and pepper shakers and run through the off-side rule with Long.

Not a terrible performance on the back of a long period of few games plus the addition of many injuries.

He does seem a bit quiet!

But actually if he plays then shows he's ok, if not then we can nurture him.

They are upset losing to Spurs. Wonder if these same people when SFC are beaten by Chelsea or Manchester City get just as emotional? I think not.

To be fair to Andre, I've just looked at the Tadic pen appeal, and he's quite right, Spurs are definitely the home team.

I'm not upset. I thought we played very well and genuinely thought we may conjure an upset.

I'm just a little annoyed about how we just don't seem to be getting the run of the green. It's now twice in 3 games that game changing decisions have not been given.

Also a bit crap that we have so few games so it's another two weeks until we can put this right. Bournemouth next. Please be ok Gabby

    Unlucky Saints.

You play good football and gave us a good run for our money...i think the prolonged breaks for you between matches showed today with a lack of fluidity.

    best of luck people.

Putting aside all the ref decisions, we didn't deserve 3 points. The draw wouldn't have been unfair but overall, I think Tottenham played a bit better.

There was some good building block stuff here. Romeu played well, especially second half. JWP was good. Stephens gaining experience. Yoshida looked okay, and I think a VVD/Yoshida CB pairing will be decent. Could we win this game with a full 90 minutes of Gabbiadini and VVD? Yeah, quite possibly.

But OTOH, it is what it is. We are really not all that great right now. Not terrible, but not good either. Still have trouble bringing the ball through midfield unless it's through Bertrand on the left. Redmond is still too inconsistent and this was a "Bad Redmond" day. Boufal was awful, and ball-hogging. Rodriguez didn't play that much, but looked rather uninspiring when he was on.

Disappointing loss (aren't they all?) but not that surprising either. We played about as well, or maybe even a bit better than I expected. Really think we need some wins to close out the season on a high note and help convince some players to stay. But it' won't be easy with the team we have now, especially if Gabiaddini is hurt.

Exactamente!! I see Spurs played a more conservative game after the Saints goal according to the text. Worried that the quality in the SFC side could do them further damage if they continued a more open style of play. That in a way is respect from Spurs.

Only negative thing I will say is Jay and Long need to be shipped out in the summer.
