Just like to point out that Warnock and others have strongly implied (although I admit not stated categorically) that Dyer has been signed on a pay as you play deal, or something similarly low-risk. As such, I think he will either be a bargain, or nothing at all - not a bad risk to take!

    QPR
Best Signing - DJ Campbell, 13 goals in 31 Premier League matches and only cost 1/4 of Graham. Anyone who would pick a 20+ goal championship striker ahead of a 13 goal Premier League striker is mad.
    Worst - Gabbidon.
Old boy - hard between Faurlin/Taarabat/Kenny, but probably Faurlin.

    Norwich
Best - Naughton - annoyed we didn't get him. Unless we get Walker! Both quality.
Worst - Vaughn. Not an awful signing by any means, but probably worst of the bunch.
    Old boy - Hoolhan

    Swansea
Best - Graham - stand by what I said above, but if you can't sign a proven Prem striker, the best in the Champ is obviously the next best thing! If you go straight back down (which tends to happen to the play-off winners) he will fire you straight back up!
Worst - Routledge, 100 Prem games, no goals. No prem club ever wants to retain him. I'll be shocked if he starts. Not as good as Dyer/Sinclair.
Old Boy - Sinclair. (But a shame you couldn't keep Borini!)

Anyone else agree with me that Wigan and Wolves are going down this year? Only leaves room for one of the rest of us! (Or Newcastle.)

I agree with Wigan, but Wolves have kept Doyle and Jarvis. If they stay fit, they should stay up.

    Norwich
Best Signing- Bennett, looks very promising and think he will score a few crackers, nearly went for Vaughan who I think will surprise a few.

Worst Signing- Steve Morison, nothing against him just think Holt will always be ahead of him, don't think he will get much game time.

Old Boy- David Fox, His passing is just brilliant and was evident in the second half of last season.

    QPR

Best Signing- Think it's difficult, probably DJ Campbell, but not sure he will do as well as last year.

    Worst Signing- Gabbidon- absolute donkey

    Old Boy- Taarabt, Class player

    Swansea

Best Signing- Leroy Lita- think he will get goals. Power, Pace and can finish. I think Vorm could be good also.

Worst- Routledge, don't think he will play much as I think Dyer and Sinclair will do well.

Old Boy- Ashley Williams, always rated him, think he is a top class defender.

Wolves have improved with the signing of Roger Johnson, can't see them in the bottom three unless they have injuries.

Wolves have improved, but Blackburn are likely to have got worse than last season. Samba will either be sold or resent every minute he plays. M. B. Diouf has gone back to Man Utd... I feel quite hopeful all 3 promoted sides have a good chance of finishing ahead of them!

    Norwich

Best - De Laet, has looked good in pre-season so far (close call with Bennett)
Worst - Johnson, hasn't looked as exciting as the others and have barely seen Pilkington to judge him.
Old boy - R Martin/Fox/Hoolahan/Holt, really don't know who to choose from them

    QPR

Best - Bothroyd, chance at the Premiership and has proven himself in the Championship.
Worst - Dyer, injured too often
Old boy - Taarabt, great player

    Swansea

Best - Vorm, seems like a good keeper
Worst - hasn't proven himself in the Premiership, could this be his year?
Old boy - Sinclair, great winger

    Swansea City

Best Signing: Vorm or Graham. I think both will be needed over the course of the season and it's no good one performing without the other.

Worst Signing: Moreira. Good keeper and is more-or-less de Vries in style and level, but with Vorm (and also possibly Tremmel) signing after him he might not get many chances this season.

Old Boy To Shine: Ashley Williams. Probably a season or two after he deserved to play Premiership football but better late than never.

    Swansea only.

Best: Vorm. Getting the Dutch No. 2 is a amazing after losing DDV.

Worst: Lita. Not for his ability, but for his 'off the field reputation. Hope he's older and wiser now.

Old guard: Joe Allan. I reckon he can step up and prove himself as good as Dobbie and Sinclair.

I've seen a few people saying that Bothroyd was their best, but (and this isn't just because he's ex C.Diff) I've seen him play and he appears to be a real confidence player. If it doesn't happen straight away for him, he may struggle.

How on earth can Dyer be the worst signing????? A free transfer and on a pay as you play contract? Then add to the pot all the above comments, it's a win win situation.

But DJ Cambel with the goals he scored in the Premiership last season with a below par team, think I'd vote for him. Danny Graham? He could come good but is unproven.

It will be more interesting to see how the players that won promotion for their teams last year take to the rise in division.

Dyer is being paid a sizeable weekly wage so is not free, don't think pay as you play means he costs nothing if he doesnt play.... it will mean he will be on some crazy bonus system when he does.

Are you so naive to think that if Dyers doesn't play you pay him absolutely nothing........so he turns up every day, trains hard and risks injury and his career for free.

It isn't me who is the mug if you believe that. I suggest you check out the Premier League rules regarding contracts for players (it covers pay as you play) before you try and throw empty insults around little boy.

Where Warnock say's he's basically on bread and water if he doesn't play.
