Just for plt. I'm listening to the commentary on stoke v Chelsea. Bardsley just been sent off in the last seconds.
The co comms words. Bardsley finally sent off after at least 4 yellow card challenges...

Get away with murder we get away with **** all.

Can't think of one that hasn't. Been second best all over the pitch. Still been stitched up for the first goal and the red card but they were by far the better team.

Very harsh sending off but poor play gifted it to Everton. The result today had to be expected but City will struggle if Huddlestone misses the next three games.

Id be happier paying the tv licence if city won a dozen matches on match of the day a season.

Never a 4-0 game, ref got 2 decision wrong, first goal off side, Hudd's was never a sending off IMO. Up to Hudd going of we were the better side in the 2nd half, and I was quite hopefully we could get an equaliser, ref again spoils the game.

He's hardly to blame for the red card. We were in the ascendancy until then.

You're idea of in the ascendancy is vastly different to mine.

It wasn't a sending off. The ref got it wrong. The **** him.

However I can just about forgive that error; we were losing that game anyway.

What's boiling my piss is the three match ban. In which ****ing universe is that a fair and equitable response to a blatant piece of incompetent refereeing? It's a ****ing nonsense.

In my opinion we where looking the more likely to score next and playing Ok ... Better than the first half anyway.

In my opinion we didn't look likely at all to score. We didn't make their gk make a save did we?

Huddlestone being banned might be a blessing in disguise. We saw this a few seasons ago when he got banned and we started winning games. He plays too deep and slows the play down far too much most of the time. Granted, he ups our pass completion percentage and helps us keep possession, but by the time he's done with the ball the opposition's back line is always firmly in place and organised. We don't have the quality to score when it's not on the break.

Meyler had about 10 minutes the other week and he made a gut busting run into their box to put the pressure on... that's more than Huddlestone has managed in 3 seasons.

We need an energy injection in the middle of the park.

I can't and wouldn't deny that. I said we looked the more likely to score, it can happen.

But we didn't "look more likely" than them. We looked like we were better organized than the first half and we got in their half a little more. But it was hardly free flowing attacking football with lots of chances. We just played higher up the pitch.

I'd be surprised if you get many takers on this board for thinking we'd be better off with Meyler in the team, but I think your point is absolutely correct. On recent performances mind I would have rather he was in for Ndiaye than Huddlestone.

You must've watched a different game to me, then. What happened after the red card was almost an irrelevance. It completely killed the game. Until that point we'd given a top 6 side a ****ing good game.

    Stop been miserable ****s.

Agree to disagree time for me ... I stand by what i said and i would add that i wouldn't have been surprised if we had scored the next goal before the sending off. I wasn't saying we where playing free flowing football or anything like it. In fact Robbo could have scored near the post.

Except he didn't hit the target with a **** effort. I think all this board apart from you then would have been surprised if we'd scored a goal. We looked nothing like scoring.
We barely troubled them all game
