I would say he acheived that at porto and he has earnt the right to be given the chequebook.
Would love to see someone like Jose do what Klopp has done and go to a club that is broken and try and solve it - tbf Koeman doing the same over the road. I would really love it if they went to a third/fourth toer club to do it and brong a club through. Why should he though? You don't get top lawyers going back to where they started to do it all again. Club specs aside he is a great manager, i hope that he doesnt work his magic/cheat (beauty is in the eye of the beholde) but think he is at utd for the long haul, and he will be successful. Just hope we are too

 

Sorry, but I've never bought this "cleverly taking attention away his players" bullshit. The man needs to be the centre of attention, it's all about him.

 

Just been Watching the Premier League show on Catch-up.

I always liked Ediie Howe but having watched the piece about Bournmouth's Club Photographer coming out as a Trans-Gender Woman, he's just gone up in my view even more.

In an age when so many managers seem to be moaning twats he's a class act.

 

Whether Mourinho has been given x amount of money is slightly mute because you still have to get the right players in and get them to perform.

Spending money is one thing but turning that into success is another. Mourinho has earned the right to be at the biggest clubs because of the success at Porto (people say anyone could win the league with Porto but look at them now. It's not that simple) and Chelsea (who were still up and coming with Roman's money).

i can get on board with that line of thinking too. I think he is very driven by vanity, hence literally tossing Chelsea to one side to get to United. He has always coveted that job . That said he has got that job which sort of illustrates how channeled he is. Like I said, he is a born winner. Not that i think there is another club he wants to go to apart from utd. That is why i believe he will be there for a good few years. Jose is suited to the prem - the continent is more tactical and the press do not tolerate his ego/divertion tactics.

Given Stan the Man's love of the CL gravy train, he'll probably go for a Top European coach like Allegri or keep Arsene until he's carried out in a box in his nineties.

Arsenal are in big Trouble for the TOP4 now. With either City and/or Liverpool to drop points tomorrow, this result is catastrophic.

They have 3 rearranged fixtures to cram in before the end of the season.
Not mentioin a trip to Spurs and Utd and City at Home and their record against the top 6 is W1,D2,L4.

Unless Spurs fall apart without Kane, Le Arse are underdogs for the top4 now for me.
