He reminds me of me...always ready for some hot sex when the relationship is fresh....6 months down the line, can't be arsed....eye starts to wander and I start to see major flaws in her. Time to start flirting with others whilst burning bridges with the current one....classic Spurlock/Jose.

Mornin Archie....I think Keane is one of them people you can tap into him if you know him or get that far. I get what you are saying....but one man's annoying opinion is another man's honest opinion. With Keane you know where you stand. You need to read his book(if you haven't already) I thought it was fascinating.

    Can't trust Jose, I can(would)trust Keane.

I would trust Keane to act the ****. As for where you stand with him - out of range.

Can't stand the bloke, never have; and like all bullies, I think he's a coward. Always played the hard man on the pitch with players he thought wouldn't give him any back.

I think that was a tactic in itself mate. He used to get some of the softer (to use the parlance on this board) rattled and keep them out of the game. It's the same idea as giving the small technical players a clattering in the first 5 mins "to let him know you are there"

Keane started it with viera and shearer who I reckon would both have kicked the ****e out of him. Viera especially

So Keane only tried it on with small weak players yet did try it on with Shearer and Vieira both of whom could have kicked the **** out of him but didn't.

    Ok, gotcha.

Say what you like about Keane, and he is a dick, but bottler or bully he wasn't. He mixed in with anyone.

Not a very nice bloke but was a brilliant, hard, player.

  7. I don't think I'd like Keane if I met him and got to know him a little, but there is absolutely no doubting the fact that he was United's heartbeat, and the fact that United has never been able to replace him is, for me, the major reason they have gone into decline.

Does that give him the right to pour scorn on Mourhino?

Well, Keane is as entitled to his opinion as the rest of us. I don't seen why the plastics find that so upsetting.

I think Paul Scholes was their irreplaceable heartbeat.

  9. Interesting debate, that one.

Both were clearly very good players for United. Scholes was, for me, the best English attacking midfielder, in his day. If he could have cut out the rash challenges from his game, he would have been one of the best in the World. I'd have put Scholes in Spurs' team every day of the week.

But, for me, Keane in Defensive Mid was the undoubted General of that all-conquering United side.

It is. He has that "owe poor me, my team (large squad) are exhausted and then there is the choreographing of that banana thing.

He's the master of deflecting a bad performance.

He's very successful but he's also a massive ****er.

Either way, Keane is pointing out what a whiny little prick Jose is. He has a point too. Jose was exactly the same with us, and it was cringe worthy at times. It's just the way he is and he won't change. He's already said that United probably won't win at Boro.

    Keane is correct imo.

United have improved under Mourinho but for all the cash spent they're still sixth and not playing particularly good football. Not many goals in the team when Zlatan isn't around. Next season could be tough with at least one of De Gea and Zlatan potentially gone.

    Pogba has been sublime though.

  13. Mourhino still has time, probably a couple of seasons, to mould his own team.

Yes, he can be a massive cock - him laughing on National TV at stealing Willian from Spurs after we'd given him a medical proved just how massive a cock he can be - but if he is permitted to build his own team, there is no doubting that he can work miracles.

The problem he might have is that other clubs have a lot of money and CL football to offer. He won't have it all his own way, and he won't deal with it well.

I'd go on but I'm hanging out my arse post-Cheltenham.

Mourinho is an exceptionally dislikeable human being. ****ing crying about someone at the club forgetting to book a flight from London or some bollocks. You've got Middlesbrough FFS. They don't cross the halfway line.

He was a match made in heaven for Chelsea. United fans mostly seem to like him but I don't know why. They're punching well below their weight imo.

  19. Is that down to Mourhino, though?

    I think it is.
