    One way is to go into your control panel and select edit Avatar and then choose option 1 and upload it from your computer, as you probably did for your profile picture. If you got it from a web site then go to that web site, copy the URL at the top and paste into option 1.

    Haven't tried this but you may be able to right click on your profile picture, copy the URL go to edit Avatar and paste the URL into option1.
