Well legal age of consent is of course 16 (wrongly imo but different debate) but pornography is 18. Pretty sure it's legal though not sure where the law would stand if he asked for a similar picture back. For me though, it's the moral side I'm concerned with.
Agreed morally it's pretty bad, especially when he says married. I heard/saw a rumour that he didn't expect to be here next season. At this rate he won't be here end of the month.
It would definitely be illegal for him to receive nudes of a 17 year old. Sending one to a 17 year old may be illegal as well.
I thought that might be the case in terms of recieving not sure on the sending though. Can anyone clarify for sure?
Also, he's goddamned 30 in three weeks. Legal, moral, I don't care...why in the hell do 30 year olds want anything to do with someone that young? I'm about the same age and couldn't imagine dating a university student, never mind a kid in high school. 'Contributing to the moral turpitude of a minor' would be the charge in the US, I believe. Not sure in the UK.
At risk of this going very off topic... you have to be 18 to do pretty much anything else; drink, buy tobacco gamble. Just never seemed right to me that a man of any age can have sex with someone who essentially (and legally), is a child. Also, and I know this isn't what you meant but 16yr olds in porn would you want to come across that?
What would you deem a man? 18-19yr old guy with a 16yr old gf is pretty standard. But I would say any older it gets weird.
16 year olds in porn doesn't really bare thinking about. I agree with beefy in the case that when the ages are as he's stated, it's not unusual. But yeah 16 with any older than 20/21 is not great.
Fair point and I agree but that's a small sample size in comparison. If left to 16 then I think there should maybe be like a 'secondary'* type limit. For example once an adult reaches a certain age, say 21, then they're not allowed any sexual partners under 18. *couldn't think of better word
If true (it doesn't look great but then again haven't seen evidence of the photos (not that I want to either)), then how long could he be looking at behind bars. If it's just photos and not physical contact?
completely irrelevant - my dad was 20 when he met my mum who was 16 - they've been married for 59 years
