League is a lot tougher than Union. I noticed that when I went to watch Gareth Thomas' debut for the Crusaders in Wrexham. He got knocked out in the first tackle. Absolutely mental sport.
League is rubbish where if get tackled 5 times have to kick it. It's like American football and doesn't allow teams to build attacks gradually and you don't get that tension like in union where team is defending for tackle and tackle on just outside try line. Means you get a lot of then over of play
On the other hand you don't get teams protecting the ball in the forwards when its 2 minutes from the end, you have to play the ball and forward. It means there's positive play until the end, unlike Union.
I hate rugby league cos its a roid sport with a bash em up mentality. but most of all.. i find it very very dull to see one guy run forward blindly, get tackeled and then ahave a gay little wriggling match untell the ref tells them to break it up or get a room. Its too artificial for me. Same for the "scrum" in league.. hilarious. sorry it only on 45h and 5th tacklet that sport comes alive and i get too pissed off by first 3 tackles to bother.
