It's a good kick about and all their new signings are due a goal or two. Let's hope the Liverpool players are taking this game as lightly. I know we do poorly (to say the least) at Anfield, however we were very unlucky last year. Ha'way the lads!
As much as it hurts me to say it - I predict a Pool win. 2-0 or 3-1. I just hope I am wrong. Cum On Me Bonny Lads Lol Bart
I would say 1-1 being optomistic with Sess getting the goal. The pressure is all on them, new signings in front of the home crowd against a team they are expected to beat? Look at it from their point of view who would you really not want to play at home on the first day of the season?? if its a top 4/6 side a loss is acceptable. Of the rest with all our new signings and good record last year they must be a little nervous, a potential banana skin.
To true vegas, we are to lose but our new boys will want to shine and Sess is on fire. Fingers crossed for a sneaky win or hard fought draw.
I wouldn't go as far as saying they are arrogant, but many of them do seem to be very, very confident...It will just hurt them that little bit more if we pull off a win..And I've no doubt that if we did win, they would find another excuse to replace the beach ball...
I'm sorry bit I really dont see how Carroll, Henderson, Downing, Adam and Enrique suddenly make Liverpool a great side? Suarez is class but he cant do it alone. Kuyt is a quality player but then where is the rest of the supposed top 4 quality at? They have spent massive amounts of money on slightly better than average players and I dont think we should fear them at all. In Gyan and Sess we match their forward strength and in Gardener, Catts, Colback and Larsson we have a solid goal scoring midfield. In Brown, Bramble, Bardo and whoever plays RB (Anton for me) we have a good experienced EPL defence. On the bench we will probably have Turner, Vaughan, Wickham, Won, Richardson (if fit) and Muhammady - plenty of experience and equally exciting. I think we go there tomorrow with little pressure and everything to gain. If Kenny's expensively assembled team dont perform, he will get slaughtered and rightly so after a £100m+ spending spree. Liverpool will NOT be top 4 this season and are not in Europe as they are not a particularly good side IMO and its a long time since they had that fear factor. Go for it Brucie and dont be afraid of the dark at all (did you see what I did there Lol). 1-2 to the lads, with Gyan getting off the mark and Sess continuing his superb form. A score draw at worst. FTM
Define average.. , All 3 cracking players, then you add Jordan, Suarez, Kuyt, and possibly the best g/k in the league, and a few more. Can't wait till the day we can sign the likes of these average players.
not too sure what will happen tbh. Lets all pray that Suarez isnt going to play... or be on the bench
