We don't know. He might have an off-day and just chip in with one or two.

    Hello CSS, Deirdre here,
You're forgetting the Watford game where the slacker only scored the one goal.

    I hope that helps,

    D

Interesting thing about Gabbi. And correct me if I'm wrong on this but, by the law of averages, Gabbi should regrettably have a lean day on Sunday, ie not score. But, by the law of probability, he probably will.

Or am I just trying to make that work.? :)

I knew that Deirdre. Only an utter cockwomble would have forgotten that. I'm not an imbecile, you know.

    Love and hugs,

    Vin

Of course, should the unthinkable happen and he doesn't score, will this forum go into meltdown with a thread "Manolo Out"?

God help him if he misses a couple of sitters and should have passed to JWP!

We do seem to have a passionate togetherness in the team at the moment - well done Claude!

Just realised that I have now done my 4,000th post. I know it's not as much as others and I would have much rather had the landmark comment being an exclamation of joy regarding Forsters bicycle kick goal on Sunday than it being in the supposed exploits of our new Uruguayan centre-back.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the guys and gals on the forum for making this place so welcoming and a great place to debate. I hope I'm at least a bit tolerable but I really enjoy coming on here and posting and sharing in the highs and lows of the Saints. Thanks to each and everyone of you that frequents this forum.

Going for a 1-0 scrappy win! Forster with the goal of course ;) Come on you Saints!

    https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017...-two-pre-tottenham-southampton-premier-league

Second part of Puel's press conference. Targett will be back in 3-4 wks. He's pleased with McQueen's call up and in his conversion from left winger to LB. Austin joined in training (without opponents) and greeted each goal as if it was in a real match. :) He will appear for the U23s before being considered. Caceres may get a chance during the fixture pile up in April,

    http://www.footballfancast.com/opin...i-an-opportunity-missed-for-tottenham-hotspur

Yet another blog talking about a missed opportunity in not signing Gabbiadini. Does make the point that Manolo wouldn't have wanted to be second choice at another club after his difficult time at Napoli. Also mentions that the reason Paul Mitchell left Spurs was a falling out over their failure to offer sufficient money to sign Michy Batshuayi.

    http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/15165041.Puel_reveals_Saints_players_anger/?ref=rss

I knew this would be picked up by the press. Using a foreign language, he said that some players were angry not to be used and this was a good thing. He qualified it by saying it was with a good attitude and it made them work harder when there was competition. As soon as he said It, I knew it would be reported as if the players were slinging boots at the wall rather than being disappointed.

Nope, but my Xmas tree is up. I got fed up with putting it up every year.....such a waste of effort. For the last ten years it has been in my box room waiting it's moment in December. The dust just looks like snow.
