Then Lukaku kicks Everton in the nuts , he is burning his bridges , good lad http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Lukaku-wants-leave-Everton-win-trophies.html
Aw, just came here to post that. His comments make one feel a little queasy, yes.? Here's a link anyway: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39295524
Does anyone watch The Premier League Show, and has Southampton ever featured.? I watched 5 minutes of it and surprise, surprise ManU were featured. I turned over after Mourinho was interviewed. He at least was slightly interesting, not because he represents ManU but because he's interesting as an individual.
Very strange timing to sack Karanka for me, who are they going to get in now? Pearson maybe? I'd have thought having waited this long that they may well as him give him the season.
Interesting. For me it makes sense. They've been in free fall for 10 games. They started by being difficult to beat but not winning enough and they have 10 games left? It makes sense to me as it appears he has never quite got it right and they have enough time for a new man to possibly make a difference.
Fair point but I think the signs have been there for a long time so could have taken action earlier to possibly give the new man even more time. Interested to see who they get though, suspect they might have someone lined up.
Similar to us when we went through our poor patch; relying on our defence to not make any mistakes as we weren't scoring enough goals.
Boro turning point? Has to be our game. They were a tough to beat going into that game, picking up points in places they shouldn't. We really struggled that day, and were it not for a bit of Boufal magic there would have been no goals. Since then they have won just one game in the league. Either that or Gastons little transfer strop. Either way, they are going down. They should have done the gaffer a month ago.
Bang on. Realistically, they got relegated the moment the transfer window shut. Put anyone in charge of this team, they're not suddenly going to be able to magic goals out of thin air. OK I don't watch Boro closely of course, but I don't think it's down to Karanka being an overly negative manager or anything that they can't score - I just think that they badly lack attacking quality. If anything Karanka maybe should be praised for at least ensuring that they don't have issues at both ends of the pitch. Who better to try and bring them back up next season (if they do go down) than someone who has already proven that he can take them up? Either ditch him before the end of the transfer window, or stick with him. Don't sack him now. (Caveat to the above, is that if he was behind the Gestede signing, then he deserves the sack. Only himself to blame in that instance for spending £7m on a PL donkey. But it may not have been his decision.)
There's been instances when a new manager coming in late on can rejuvenate a team and get them some results. It certainly isn't cut and dry for sure. Time will tell on who they bring in and if they achieve anything.
